...So Spitting Image wasn't filmed in Birmingham?

@053bss It was, mostly. the puppets were designed and made and sketches typed in the London Docklands. The show was actually recorded in Central's Birmingham studios. The only times where they would record sketches in the tiny Docklands studio would be when the sketch being written was so topical that there wouldn't be enough time to get the puppets up to Birmingham to record the sketch.

Birmingham had far superior facilities to the tiny Docklands studio, hence why most SI was recorded there.
