1.- How did they create the floating ripped paper of the gift???
2.- Anyone knows the name or have seen a Cartoon Networs 90's add where a kid gets into a hair salon and gets a flat and squarish Cartoon Network hairstyle??? PLEEEEEASE I've been looking for it A LOT and I haven't found it... please?... anyone???...
They do mention that the other cartoon network ID clips are made from Maya which is work with Meindbender but i'm not sure about this one..but either way i love it :) Olov Burman has some good work!
@meindbender - So you guys used CGI in later IDs created for the network, and I've also noticed you guys used a different font for the CN logo in those IDs instead of the traditional "Eagle Bold" font.
@meindbender ha! this always has been my favorite short of yours, nice to know that Olov did it the oldskool way. Would he do it with cg now or did he just prefer stopmotion¡?
This is stop motion guys not CG if you read the credits at the end you will see a minute and 19 seconds in that Mikeal Lindbom is the STOPMOTION Animator.

this is not CG, is a stopmotion piece made by Olov burman who both animated and directed it. the only CG in this movie is CN text at the end.

The paper parts in the air when the present is ripped appart can't be stopmotion.
And everything is too smooth.
