I doubt this works with very different flavors. Jams are alike. In an experiment with ice cream with chocolate and mango I think this wouldn´t work.

@TimdeJong The colours could have an effect too, so maybe if the colour ice cream was similar like banana and pineapple, it could turn out like this.
