@Melonzorz Well, it can compete with WoW. Rift is basically Wow, but the creators gave the players what they wanted from WoW. It's like, "You wanted this from WoW but they wouldn't give it to you? Well here you go." But remember that MMO's sort of have a basic structure that almost all use. It's the higher level content that I find is unique.

@Melonzorz any mmo is going to copy WoW, WoW has all the basic things in an MMO so all other MMO's are gonna be exactly like it. Pretty much all MMO's are like WoW and the ones that arent generally are bad. and on top of that rift has elements that separates it from WoW. I played WoW for nearly 5 years (cata ruined it for me) and I purchased this game a few days ago. I am level 25 at the moment, and I am never going back to WoW. People say this game is a "WoW clone", but I like that it took what was good about WoW and added to it. I was skeptical for the first few hours of play, but once a massive rift invasion happened when I was questing, with huge groups of players forming and finally closing the rifts just to have a boss appear, I was hooked. Try it out.
