I relaxed my hair for the first time at 12 and by 16 there was practically none left. I stopped the relaxer just before I turned 16 and started wearing weaves. Now, at 18, I've been straightening my edges enough that they hardly curl at all so I've decided it's time to get rid of the weave. My dad just bought these to try and this tutorial is awesome! I just wanted to say thanks for helping show that natural hair isn't bad as long as you treat it right. Wish I had seen this when I was 12 :/

They are not the same quality, they are much worse and not good value for money as you don't get as many, they are not as long and the Curlformers only twist one way. I know as my friend got some and said it was a waste of her money. Just a warning!

Thanks so much for sharing...I really think that I'd like to invest in this product but I'm skeptical b/c my hair normally doesn't hold too many styles well in very humid temperatures. how do you stop the ends from being as frizzy when using these?

@Raqi0124 I believe that the whole 'frizzy ends' thing has to do with PH balance. I would suggest searching for 'Kimmaytube's leave-in conditioner', and you can also try aloe vera gel on the ends of your hair. And later on if you have time try researching 'PH balance for ends' or something along the lines of that. I hope this helps :)

Fantastic!! I simply must buy this. I did not have success with rods. In the end, I stuck with the old fashioned snap rollers, which did the job, but are a bit uncomfortable and keep too much wetness. Rods end up falling out or pinching me, but the curls do work... somewhat. Thanks for another wonderful video! :D

I used it for the first time last night and I love them. I used the short & narrow on my hair with some rows of flat twist along the front of my head. I let them air dry for a few hours and I must say I am amazed by the results. My hair feels soft and the curls or springy. So much body and movement. @cvq201 I counted how many she used before buying, and I counted at least 31. I consider my hair thinner than others', so I figured I'd get away with using 3 packs of the 8 long-and-wide, totaling 24...and I couldn't. I had to use larger sections than desired. The curls came out, but I think they were a bit frizzier than they would've been had I used more curlformers. I'm going to buy at least one more pack, so I would suggest you buy atleast 32 (4 8-packs), if not 40. I'm a 4b, btw. HTH!
