you guys are completly stupid! that "plasma" is a very dangereus electric discharge caused by the microwaves and the case of the oven is connected to the ground wich goes to the halv wave DC retrifer and to high voltage transformer getting a shock from it is lethal!

Yes. You don't want to put a CD in a microwave...or a light bulb....or a ball of foil....or a fork...or a can of paint....or a bottle of coke....Yes, if you did that, that would be stupid, so don't do it. Whatever you do, do not put a CD in a microwave for 10 seconds. 'Cause, how stupid would that be?
