  • U2 dedicated this song to a friend of Bono's who was a political prisoner in China...

It's very interesting that Darlene would pick this song...

The phrase "a place that has to be believed to be seen" can be referring to God or to a prisoner who has to think himself into freedom when it doesn't exist physically.

  • Muito boa essa versão, a Darlene conseguiu trazer essa linda musica para um contexto bíblico, realmente tudo é pra Ele, nossas atitudes, nova vida e tudo o que fazemos. Walk On

  • amen,,

  • inspiradora cancion ....................

  • why would you sing a U2 song?!?!?! bono is anti-christ

  • Interesting...how is Bono anti-christ? Just wondering...

  • @22carinosa if you are not with Christ, you are against Him is what the bible says.

and i've seen pictures where he shows freemason signs. saw him in pictures with the one eye sign.(gaga likes to do so also) and he used to have this alter ego back in the days ( i forgot the name) with the horns and everything. just to name some things.

i believe in spirits. either you've got the Holy Spirit or demon spirit(s). satan can comes like a angel of light.

people might be mad at me but i don't care

  • @Funkdogg How the HELL is Bono an Anti Christ?

  • @jaydenshea bono kissing men.. bono getting with transsexuals. anti enough right?

  • @Funkdogg Bono is christian, you can find this information in all pages about this topic, and also Bono always says beautiful things about Christ in his concerts. Look their song "Yaweh", or "when the streets have no name" live in boston, it's awesome ;) U2 is awesome. Saludos y bendiciones

  • @kartlun bono is bisexual, not christian. anybody can claim to be christian. but if you still practice sin God does not know you. the bible says that not every person that says,,Lord,Lord. will enter the kingdom of heaven

  • @kartlun you are being decieved my friend. this is what the devil wants. if you have a real relationship with Jesus you would see that. search for satanic bono here on youtube and see.

  • @Funkdogg you are the only person that had been cheated, we can find a lot of blessings in the u2 band, their families, their hits, their incredibly friendship of them. I think is enough for believe in a God that can make all things. And the devil..no thanks, this guy are so far from u2 and here ;) Good luck and blessings ;)

  • @kartlun i see that you are a true fan. well go ahead, be that. as long as you remember that satan came as a angel of light. a lot of things can seem to be good, but will lead you to destruction.

  • i like to share a word with you poeple

  • As a kid I realized God was talking to me through the Bible. He wanted me to do certain things when I got older. I passed the years doing normal kid activities, but when I turned 18, I began carrying out God’s orders. I made a list of the most offensive local atheists. I learned the schedules & personal habits of those atheists, & fashioned tools & weapons I would need in my Dad’s workshop. By the way I am not weird. I act just like any everyday person EXCEPT when it comes to serving God.

  • Should have gotten Bono to guest vocal

  • ahhh i like u2s version better sry lol i mean this is good but....... yeah.....

  • lovely

  • excellent blend . certainly, this hallelujah part would make way for a new song entirely

  • No the Hallelujah part won't make way for a new song. This is is Walk On (the Hallelujah mix) which was released by U2 as a rare single together with the album version of Walk On. This is the version that U2 sings live all the time and was done at the special presentation for 9/11 on TV which was released on a double CD (America: A Tribute To Heroes) with many other famous artists performing at that event.

  • isn't this a U2 song?

  • Yes, U2 wrote this song.

  • wow this is cool. I would definitely love to sing a U2 song in church!

  • I went to Darlene's church (Hillsong) where she is one of the main vocalists and after church they played U2's Beautiful Day on the sound system. This is the only church that I have been that played secular pop music in their church.

  • U2 maybe a secular group but listen closely to the lyrics in the song. Also have you listened to "when love came to town' by U2 it is pretty clear and unconcealed gospel. They may be a secular group but that does not make what they sing any less Christian..in fact if they were not secular many people they reach would never get exposed to these concepts

  • Yes some U2 songs have gospel connotations and even spiritual messages with some Christian flavour but most of their songs are quintessential pop songs. Christian groups only sing about Christian songs with Christian messages. Hence U2 is a secular group who sometimes sing Christian messages.

  • @Lordismyportion and Bono

  • Muito boa essa versão, a Darlene conseguiu trazer essa linda musica para um contexto bíblico, realmente tudo é pra Ele, nossas atitudes, nova vida e tudo o que fazemos. Walk On

  • pls pls pls tell me where u got it im searchin everywhere

  • This was on Darlene's solo album "Kiss of Heaven" that came out in 2003.

  • no i meant if u got it on the internet or something so i can get it anyway thanks

  • Oh sorry, I bought the cd.

  • I have a copy of this CD as well.

  • @Lordismyportion Kiss Of Heaven was her first solo album which was followed by Change Your World, which came out in 2005

  • God allowed me to hear this song one night when I couldn't sleep and was really afraid about going on a mission trip to the middle east. It was so kind of Him. Very powerful. It reminds me that it's always worth it to walk on and follow Him even when it's hard. I love Darlene Z making it a real worship song.

  • how was the mission trip?

  • absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! God is always good and always has our best interest and His glory (which is our glory too) in mind. Why don't we always follow Him?
