That ROH commercial means nothing. The little NWA Midwest promotion around here airs commercials for their shows during RAW and Impact, should we be afraid of them?
Seeing as neither WWE or TNA rely on raiding the NWA Midwest of their talent, yeah I think it's a safe assumption that neither has to fear a promotion that, not even being under the NWA banner can help them produce the type of growth that ROH is experiencing all on their own.
LMAO is this video is a joke?? ROH is not in TNA's league and will never be. Sooner or later they'll all end up in TNA one by one. Rave is TNA's newest collection. Maybe the Briscoes will be next.
Uh-huh...even though a lot of us have been saying that TNA should've made that move about a year and a half back.
Please, TNA is already on its way to LOSING more of it's former ROH "collections" than it is about to add. Already lost their chance at Matt Sydal, and wasn't he almost a lock for you guys about a month back?
Why would anybody be afraid of a local commercial promoting a local invent. The Real Deal pro wrestling used to promote during my smackdown it didn't really mean anything. I've seen Impact commercials on RAW, as well as a commercial for Turning Point '06 on RAW as well. It dosn't really mean anything.
It's a start, is it not? It's a start to get just a little more public recognition, and as small a step it is, it's also a big enough step to get more people aware of them, one city at a time. Perhaps if TNA didn't try to over achieve all the time, they'd actually have had a couple of years they actually turned a profit.
This is the equivalent of when TNA used to air commercials for its weekly payperviews during RAW, Sutpark, and Nickelodeon. Yes its a start but I don't thinks TNA is quaking in fear. If you want me to say that TNA will be upset that they can't take the cream of the crop from ROH anymore I will. Anybody would kill to have some of the wrestlers in ROH.
But when TNA tends to get these guys, they drop the ball on them, and move them to the side, away from the spotlight and cameras. They did it with Roderick Strong, they did it for times with Austin Aries, they dropped the ball massively on Alex "More Charisma Than the Entire TNA Roster" Shelley, and they seem to think that Joe is good to tease for the main event, but not be the main event.
Yes they did drop the ball with Alex"more Charisma than the entire X division but not the entire roster"(Raven,Eric Young, Christian, Samoa Joe when he is motivated, they are the cream of the crop to me in the charisma department)Shelley without question. He shoul have been the guy they turned to rebuild it. Instead they cut the legs out from under Senshi's title run and went with Nash who got hurt and couldn't do the job to finish the great feud.
I like your vids and beleive me, Im a much bigger ROH fan than a TNA fan. But this was kida lame, due to the fact that I smelt a lot of TNA bashing for no reason. You're just as bad as those who bash ROH.
The way I saw it, I wanted to air out this commercial so those who don't think ROH is in "competition" with the WWE and TNA catch a realistic clue - how many other indy promotions actually get television air time via a commercial? Trust me, I've never seen a thing for NYWC or JAPW, for this matter, on my television.

Who fucking cares is ROH gets commercial time?? ROH is still an indy, a large indy. You've made no point in this video. The closest thing to ever compete with WWE is TNA. ROH is merely a recruitment ground for these companies. In a couple of years you may see Morishima on Smackdown.
Ummm...moralvirus that happens all of the time when a show is coming to my area locally. Like if wwe is coming to my area I will see ads for their shows during the commercials for impact all of the time. SO im guessing if roh or tna was going to be in my area the same thing would occur. It's really not that big of a deal if it only occured locally and not nationally. They will probably air the commercial during smackdown too.
now this is really something to ponder about, mvirus. an roh commercial on spikeTV during impact, why the fuck is spikeTV accepting ads from roh during impact time? is that an omen to tna? (you better clean up your act or we shift to roh instead)
I don't know man, as much as I love and support ROH. Cena's power is too strong. Also, look at CM Punk... I'm beginning to loathe him in WWE, I hate that he had to leave ROH. I don't know what to think anymore, go ROH but don't become ECW part 2.
This isn't new. They've advertised NY shows during impact like 2 or 3 other times. However, I wish they would get a tv deal so I wouldn't have to wait 20 mins to watch a 15 min.match on DailyMotion. Fuckin' DailyMotion!!!
ROH & PWG Are The Best Promotions in the United States Right Now. I would mark out if I see a PWG commerical on RAW or Impact. ROH Has Better Wrestling & PWG Has Better Entertainment than TNA & WWE Combine.
ROH has been around since February of 2002...TNA since MAY! They're not that far apart. And how is TNA a faster growing company? They instantly started out looking for a television deal, unlike ROH which has been working up to this very moment of having a pay-per-view deal.
But they don't make money - TNA only exists because a bigger company has been absorbing it's losses for 5 years. ROH is better anyway. I'd sooner watch ROH than TNA's current product, which is wretched. ROH may not be as well know as TNA, but i know which one is more likely to be around longer.
And their biggest draw and by far best wrestler has said to people close to him that he'd rather take an entry level contract in WWE than sign a 3-year extension with TNA.
The point is, TNA's product has sucked lately, and suddenly for those unaware there is a new commercial for a new federation and the preview alone looks better then the entire episode of Impact.
dude they do this during Raw all the time. If you have cable and live in an area where ROH will be hosting an event, then more than likely you get these ads during your favorite wrestling programs. by the way i saw u there at the show, i was going to try to have a word wit u but i was at the concession stand and the ruckus vs eddie edwards match had started so i rushed back to my seat...

It was apparent that Sydal was going for WWE no matter what. It was his childhood dream to work for WWE.
