I rode all the trails yesterday the black trail in my opinion is easier due to less sand than the blue, but later you get to large open flatlands that really give a much needed breeze
Love this lake! rode the black along with blue and green in one shot... took 3hrs and loved every minute of it. definatly should not be labeled expert only... ive been through WAY harder and technical stuff however the corners coming off the trees need some upkeep. Props to the 70 yr old guy!! keep rollin!
Hello. I was looking for the Cross Timbers bicycle trail near Texoma. Cool Video though. I see the same phenomenon with bicycle trails. They are sometimes overrated in difficulty to prevent liability.
Yes, very true. I have had to help a beginner out of the trail in the past, he had gotten stuck on a hill and was exhausted. On the other hand, we have plenty of people who think its not hard enough.
The "wimp" was a 70 year old guy riding a bike lowered 3 inches. He aslo broke his coller bone early in the year and didnt want to chance getting injured again. What was your average mile per hour on the black trail? Or how long did it take you to make it through without short cuts?
Hey no offense, i did not realize he was so old and injured.
Not sure of my time, but only 3rd time to ever ride a dirtbike and did the whole black trail fairly easily. Was not really any difficult obstacles. I dont know why they call it expert or have warnings?
Everybody has their own skill level and preferance on types of trails, obsticles, etc. most beginner or amature riders do not prefer the length, hills, creeks, tight woods, logs, etc, that are present in the black trail. To not have a warning would end up with someone getting hurt thinking that the trail was not at all difficult. Most of the people That ride this trail either racers or are very experianced riders. I have yet to come across anyone I would not consider experianced on this trail.
KTM 300 MXC (suspension work, offset tripple trees, GPR steering damper, hang guards, skid plate, exhaust guard, rekluse auto clutch, wiseco top end and rod, v force 3 reeds, fmf gnarly, fmf powercore2, twin air power flow, power now intake, lightweight sprockets, gripper EE seet, and radiator guards)
on my yz125 i have V-Force 3 reeds, FMF fatty pipe, FMF shorty silencer,(getting an FMF turbine core 2 before the dry season comes) Renthal sprocket and gold chain, renthal fat bars, ASV levers
2 strokes allowed?
