apparently you have to have crappy music in the background when you do the unlocking. At least most of the unlocking videos I have seen does. If you are having troubles, turn on some horrible music, and try it again

I use mac too, but when I do the terminal, it has a usb cable pointing to iTunes instead of the thing that goes in the iphone it shows like the end you plug into your laptop instead of the end you plug into your mac and plus it doesn't even load the script. Why is this happening?

in such short words its almost impossible to understand the problem, but if you are a Win user just download quickpwn and upgrade to 2.0.x.. 1.1.4 is kind of old school now:) I'm now on 2.0.2 on my 1st Generation iPhone (pwned) and iPhone3G

i have 1.0.2 and i want to upgrade to 1.1.4 using ziphone 3.0 on a mac...the way i understand it is i use itunes upgrade to 1.1.4 and than in ziphone i click 1 button do it all "unlock, jailbreak and activate.... is this the way to do it or am i missing any steps?

well I never had a problem with wifi but about bluetooth phone only supports apple's headsets and nothing else so dont get excited about beaming files.. if you have a wifi connectivitiy problem just unlock your phone from scratch again and we wil see what will happen

let say i bought one that has already fully unlocked by the shop,

if iphone software corrupted,can i just restore using itunes to the latest 1.1.4?

1)does the original 1.1.4 software restore allow me to make calls and sms?

2)or do i have to unlocked again after restore?

3)is the unlocking installs together the installer icon?

4)i tought unlock is only ONCE in a lifetime so that we can restore original OS and jailbreak as many time as we want?

is it just a program that will vanish when iphone restored and we have to unlock again since it is restored to the original OS.

well restoring over itunes means that you wont be able to use your phone because it will become sim locked again. every restore does the same thing.. unless u have at&t, o2 (UK), tmobile (germany) or orange (fr) sims with an itunes account..

so 1 and 2 have the answer yes u have unlock each and every time u restore the firmware via itunes

3-yes

4-the new versions of unlocking softwares allow to unlock and jailbreak at the same time. so after each restore u have do ıt all over
