I've been playing music for over forty years but have never seen a band that was so progressive for the time period. My Mom used to sing Louis Jordan songs around the house when I was just a kid and it always stuck with me. I'm so glad I bothered to look here for video. By the way if your a guitar player try and dig up the 1945 version of Caldonia, great early electric guitar riffs.
