  • This is true Jump, not that shit that techno is.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR love it!

  • I was wondering the same thing about the Nicholas Brothers but who else could they be? Nobody else could do those moves!

  • The dancers are a group called the Swing Maniacs, patterning their moves after the Nicholas brothers.

  • Are those the Nicholas Brothers dancing? They were the best dancers ever. Try to find videos of the Nicholas Bros, they will blow yer mind.

  • This is great stuff. I grew up jitterbugging to the man and his band. Chephusjones had it right: the origin of breakdancing.

  • At one point riding on the cymbal back then as well.

  • The drummer is muthafuckin' SHADOW WILSON THE BEST, MONK'S FAVORITE, PLAYED WITH BASIE TOO, THE LINK BETWEEN BIG BAND AND BE-BOP TOO

    !!!!

  • I've been playing music for over forty years but have never seen a band that was so progressive for the time period. My Mom used to sing Louis Jordan songs around the house when I was just a kid and it always stuck with me. I'm so glad I bothered to look here for video. By the way if your a guitar player try and dig up the 1945 version of Caldonia, great early electric guitar riffs.

  • @wrh195330161 The Tympani Five paved the way for all rock&roll bands and r&b groups as well.

  • I wish they didn't jumped at the jubilee, it looks so painful with the many splits.
