If aliens were interested in us enough to make contact, which they're probably not, they would be benevolent beings. However, if they did wanna wipe us out we wouldn't stand a chance. I'm sorry to state that the bible is a clearly human construct. It has no relation to any actual deity out there if such should exist.

Fear is the prime tool of control of all governments and any threat stated by any government should never be believed "in good faith" but dissected and examined cross-referring any existing sources whether publicly accepted or not. I was referring to the ideas, structure and tenets of the Bible rather than the fact that it was written by men to record the wishes and reasoning of a deity. From the results of my readings in both pro and against church and the bible I have reached this conclusion. This is my belief.
