Yeah he shouldn't have been able to book kuriboh.

Either that he chains the effect, in which case winged kuriboh lv10's cost is to tribute himself, thus he can't book it, and the effect goes through.

OR he books the summon, therefore you can chain wing kuriboh lv 10's effect to the book, thus getting his effect.

Either way, you get winged kuriboh lv 10's effect
