  • Hi I am to buy this mixer.

I wanted to ask and good sound quality?

    Headphone volume and good?

    Thanks ..

  • @DavideGlamour

everything is superb, BUT! if you hook up some mk2 technics to this mixer the channel gain seems too low... need to turn the gain all the way up and not as loud as needed... With digital inputs no problems.

  • Alright people, anyone know if those Synq decks he's using are any good? I'm thinking of upgrading from my 1210's but I'm not sure if I should get these or maybe stanton str8 150. Will defo be getting some OEM's though! Please let me know what you guys (& gals) think..! Peace out...DJTrueSoul.

  • <3!!

  • I got this mixer about a week ago. It's incredible. No problems at all. And for the price, its great, especially for a 4 channel. I really recommend this.

  • what song is this

  • ok plllzzzzzzzz answer me!!!

you kept playing with the efeccts and stuff right

but is the actual song like the same allll of it like is it all the same thing and you and onlly you keep changing how the sound comes out

  • Millaset noi efektit on? Ku Numark dxm09 efektit on aivan TÄYDELLISET ja noi näytää melkosen samalta. onks siis niissä paljonki eroavaisuuksii?

  • Is there a sampler along with all of those effects??

  • no.....

  • off course no xD

  • What's the USB thing for? (I've got about 500 bucks to spend on a mixer- looking at these guys, as well as some pioneers- but the pioneers seem REALLY expensive for what you get. I got my PMC 170 A for 60 bucks =D but no effects, and it feels really weird next to other mixers)

  • USB is just for audio input to channel-4. I dont have any equipment wich has such connection. I would recommend this mixer specially if you are using digital devices like cd-players or turntables with line connection. I have noticed when using technics/phono TTs the channel gains seem to be little bit out of rate. (with some records even if you turn your gain to zero it still hits reds... never happened with my techno/house records. I guest some breaks and dnb are pressed to higher level...

  • yea, some of my trance does that on my pmc170.

Idk, I was also looking at the allen & heath xone 32... have you gotten to use this mixer? If so, how do you think it compares with your pmc280?

  • well I think that you cannot go wrong with xone 32 but I thought that the gains in the back panel was too weird and it doesnt have too many effects. anyways I heard that A&H makes the best filter effects :) ...If it would have input for some effect unit I propably have bought it. The level leds on channels looks little bit weird -15, 0, +5, peak WTF? Anyways in vestax its not perfect either.

  • Hmm.. what makes vestax not perfect? (I mean, I know no company IS, but I just wanna know all the cons of the mixer before I buy it =p)

  • Like I said the little gain problem, not perfect but good enought level leds, if you want to cut really fast with the level faders they are really really "stiff" but I like them A LOT because they are really really good for extremely smooth mixing... if I want to cut I use the cf or just the volume faders... first I thought that the cue selections are in weird place but when I got this mixer in actual use they are brilliant to use... cannot really make up any other bad things about this mixer..

  • One friend who has pioneer djm-500 liked this a lot... thought maybe buying it. He specially liked the smooth faders and the good touch of playing with it. Other one is using Ecler NUO 5 and he said that the effects are better than in his ecler. (wow?) Everyone who has used my mixer has liked it... someones really really a alot. like me :)

  • wow, cool, thanks a ton! I'll letcha know if I order it =D

  • Awesome Mixer... I have tested 2 and I really aprove it. It's trully nice ;D

  • Does the PCM280 have split cue?

  • sorry the PMC.. haha

  • if you mean like cue 1 to left headphone channel and cue 2 to right... no.

  • hey dude.

    hows your mixer performance?

Im planning to get my first mixer.

    PMC-280 or DJM 400

  • well I love my vestax mixer... I have seen people talk alot about DJM400 that its good... I dont like how pioneer makes a mixer... but dont want to say that dont buy pioneer. Find someone who has djm400... example username silvialain.

  • i just ordered mine yesterday its coming from new york to florida i wonder how long it'l take. i hope i made the right choice

  • Let me know what you think about it. I feel its a really good mixer for its price. This really knocked out my expectations...

  • i just got mine and man the thing is a beast!! it was better then i expected, and it being a 4 channel mixer by vestax rocks!

  • is the fader good for scratching?

  • well I'm not the best person to tell you that because I dont know much about scratching. Anyways it moves really easy and quickly and the curve can be set to 2 different option.

  • nice mixer i just oderd my PMC 280 and i got the last one in Canada...:)

  • what happened with the korg?

  • I'm going to sell it. it is just not enough quality. Sound quality is much better in vestax... knobs and faders are much better too. Also Korg did not have XLR out puts wich could be nice when doing a live somewhere... This Vestax really feels a good mixer. I love it!

  • Nice mixer, dude!

  • verry nice mixer m8...... think i need the same one!

  • I can recommend ;)

  • Cool clip man.Keep em comin :)

  • hmmmm nice mixer you got there , sounds great too , I think this is more your kind of thing ! Hope you will get used to it quickly :)

  • Nice playing around with the mixer was fun to watch what you can do with it :)
