Amazing!!! The duel at 3:04 (Flamenco + 3 drummers.. yes!) and the part where the guy jumps out of nowhere with that horn instrument and brings his buddies on the drums at 4:34 had the best beats and rythms, was just really cool and got me goin haha. The Gypsy Festival seems like pretty fun time =).

OHHHH !! MYYY GODDD !!!! I just have to have that rajasthani song. My maid used to sing it to me when I was a kid and now I'm hearing a remastered version of it ! Hi, her name is Maria del Mar and I think she lives in Jerez, Spain. She's an outstanding singer indeed.

Thanks for that - strangely enough, only a few hours ago today, reading Robin Totton's great book about flamenco, I came across a reference to a young singer Maria del Mar Fernandez performing bulerias in Cadiz. He gives a sample of her singing on the CD with the book, and writing 4 years ago, he predicts "a future" for her. It must be the same person. What a voice!

She a very good singer. What a shame that flamenco dancers aren't gipsies (at least they don't seam very much gipsy). Their style is very "payo" and doesn't have any of the duende that the rest of the gipsies in this very interesting performance have.
