  • I flipping hate GSN!!!!! THEY'RE SHOWING DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!!!!!

  • wait is this on sky digital?

  • Sevens, Eights and Nines are a fright;

    but you'll win big if they just fall right!!!

  • Jim Perry is handsome

    And really quite manish

    But why can't we see

    More of Lois and Janice

    On "Card Sharks"?

  • bring back match game 74 please gsn

  • @BATTLEFEELD3 That actual year is airing M-F at 8:00-9:00 am PST on GSN.

  • Do you know which episode has a woman by the name of "Sylvia". That's my grandma =P

  • Oh my gosh! I haven't seen this show since 1980! It was my grandmother's (now deceased) FAVORITE morning program back in the day! Very happy memories! Thanks for the upload! =)

  • i love this show's theme music :P

    sounds oddly similar to the music in darkcave in pokemon silver o_o

  • You dont get anything for a Pair "NOT IN THIS GAME"

  • im a new viewer

  • I miss the old GSN with Millionaire, Greed,Super Greed,Friend or Foe, Press Your Luck, Lingo,March Game, Family Feud,Russian Roulette. All them good shows need to be brought back or make a GSN 2 or GSN classic channel

  • Aces are Sweet, Deuces are nice;

    But turn up an 8, and you wanna put it on ice!!!

  • GSN still shows this along with other classic game shows, $25,000 Pyramid and Match Game.

  • If card sharks were invented today, it would just be turning cards without answering any questions like the brain dead contestants on Deal or No Deal.

  • i wish that game show came back i miss the good ol days

  • If the cards fall right and obey your command;

    you can win over 25 grand!!!

  • This show had some WEIRD cards that's for sure!!! Bad Luck all over the place!!!

  • gsn IS gameshow network. it's just shortened.

  • The only thing I hated about this show was when some of the contestants were asked the questions, they usually went off on a tangent of who knows what, just answer the damn question, don't skirt the issue, lol.

  • Nassau BOCES' Matt McElwee!

  • I love the intro to this show.

  • is that jim on the far left at :24

  • Man, Jim Perry just seems like a nice guy. I'm sure he is in real life too. And it shows while he's on the air.

  • I've forgotten about this gameshow. Used to watch is a kid. Thanks so much for reviving great memories :)

  • oh DAMN an ACE???! dat sux!

  • DAMN!!! nothings worse for a queen than ANOTHER queen!

  • I've dearly missed classics such as this since GSN sold out to the monotony of cable television recently.

    Thanks for this memory.

  • Four words for Game Show Network, because I refuse to call it GSN - BRING, BACK, THE, CLASICS!

  • @DorvellTStewart they do show i at 2 till 4 cards shartsks 3 -4 and the 200.00 and 25.00 pylmand are on but hats is

  • @goreds03 don't forget Match Game

  • Patti seems a little bit of a poor sport...I wish Patrice had won.

  • I also miss the old Game Show Network...most of the new shows on GSN are so boring.

  • "sgissweet845": I blame all those poker shows. Definitely taking time away from the classics we want to see.

  • There was a Card Shark Marathon on Christmas from 9-6, and this contestant, Jorge, was so hilarious but amazing at this game. And he ended up winning $18 350.

  • Was Janice a substitute barker's beauty on the price is right during the 12th season

    (1983-1984) filling in for Holly while holly left for a short time to pursue an acting career?

  • I'm not gonna lie, those first words shocked me...

  • you don't get a pair, every one

    "NOT IN THIS GAME"

  • You quoted the British version of the show, "Bruce Forsyth's Play Your Cards Right."

  • BTW, the challenger, Patti Campbell, would go on to appear on Press Your Luck in 1984 and retire with over $34,000 in cash & prizes!

  • I wish GSN could do like the old days when they were Game Show Network showing departing contestants prizes and products. I miss the old days.

  • what year was this episode, because it looks like from early 1979 or late 1979

  • This has to be Mid-June to early July 1979. Jim's ECM-51 was replaced around June 13th by the Shure SM-61 for a couple of weeks until it was repaired. Episode 571 (from early July 1980) was when the Shure SM-61 became Jim's permanent microphone.

  • Thanks, I asked someone else when I get a chance.

  • DO you have the "Card Sharks" episode from 1981 that featrues an unannounced guest appearence from Sammy Davis Jr.?

  • sorry, I wish I did but I don't

  • I thought that it was in an episode of "Family Feud" that he did that.

  • He did do Family Feud, but also made a guest appearence on Card Sharks as well.

  • I think he may have actually introduced Richard on the debut episode.
