Payload canister is rotated to vertical, transported to pad. Then it's hoisted up to Rotating Service Structure's Payload Changeout Room, canister doors are opened, the Payload Ground Handling Mechanism is attached to the payload, pulled out, into PCR, doors closed, canister lowered. Shuttle arrives at the pad, RSS is swung around the ship, payload bay doors open, PGHM, holding onto the lab, moves in toward the payload-the lab in this case, is installed, PGHM is detached, moved back into PCR.
