Cette série est absolument inoubliable. Une histoire qui tient la route pleine de rebondissement et d'aventures. De grands paysages et forcément le Héros "Sandokan" a qui l'on s'attache facilement. Il faut dire que l'acteur principale Kabir Bedi est beau il accroche le regard. Cette série a plus de trente ans et reste dans les mémoires. Ca serait un vrai plaisir que de la revoir encore. This is the first real Book I ever read. I loved it, I was like in 6th grade and still remember all of it, although I must say, I prefer the images of the jungles and the boats that I imagined back then. I wanted to be just like him... and wear those red robes and have a sword... man... beeing a kid and reading that was awsome... I didnt need TV (Im 26 now)

This was a great series I saw growing up in Portugal in the 70s. I also read the books. All I saw from the States at the time were Charlie's Angels and Star Trek. It was great to be exposed to TV from the rest of the world, like Italy and France.

Good old times, when pirates were sailing real seas on real ships and friendship, honour and truth were worth to die. Love this series and love the song. For those who asked - original series had 6 episodes (also presented in cinemas as single movie). Nothing more. After that there was 'sequel' called Sandokan Alla Riscosa (1977) and another small series Il Ritorno di Sandokan (1996). Viva la Sandokan!
