I agree especially when their profit margins are only 2.5 - 5%. That is rediculously small. People do not realize just how small that is. If you toook all their profits away then your just looking at a 2.5-5% cut in premiums. The real problem is starts at the ground floor. Doctors and hospitals control cost with the pen.

Actually the response was not vauge. Obama shown that his figures were basically made up because CBO says otherwise. According to CBO, the money saved is about 100 billion. Xavier in his response proved that Paul Ryan completely contridicted himself and truely shown Paul Ryan to be an ass haha. Paul Ryan simply threw out some numbers and tried to make the Democrates look like an enemy. McCain spoke and added nothing to the topic. He still looks like he is running for the presicency!!!

It's obvious you have no idea what Ryan said. Ryan didn't just use "some numbers". The numbers were from the CBO itself. Ryan agrees that the deficit will drop 100 billion in the first ten years. But that's because you have 10 years of taxes for 6 years of spending. If you look at the cost from when the spending starts onward, the bill adds to the deficit tremendously. The Democrats had no answer because they like you did not pay attention enough to understand. I'd love to hear your response...

@Regal Bane: Wrong. Ryan is head of the budget committee and cited the actual CBO numbers. Obama showed he did not know the numbers when he said that the republicans had their facts wrong about single rates going up by 10 to 13 percent, when in fact they would and the CBO said so.
