Yeah, and if all else fails I suggest you use the pen tool :)

yeah I don't know :( If i had an idea Id tell you. I usually just mess around in photoshop till I make some stuff that interests me, and then I think how could I tell people about this? but yeah. thats how I made a picture for a contest yesterday just messing around, Do you ever just doodle and mess around without caring about anything? Its alot of fun just to experiment once in a while. :D

I like regular computer paper. I tend to mess up any of my sketchbooks. I just get a paper holder for my drawings ^^;

my scanner broke (I hit it...... yeah) and im tryint to get my moms camecorder to word but thats not going to happen. So I'll try to barrow my friends camera and then upload some photos. Still, I mostly draw animals and abstract things

This video is actually REALLY old, so I don't know which one I used in that one. Probably a 5-8 which is pretty huge lol.

Photoshop is not rubbish for making line art. If using the pen tool correctly, it makes perfectly wonderful line art.

download the free 30 day trial of photoshop and then use a keygen to activate it.

this isnt photoshop. dont quite know what this is but he said in the video that he wanted photoshop but couldn't find it on limewire. anyway, dont download programs off of limewire cuz you are guarrantied to get a virus, limewire's better for pictures, music and videos. for programs try torrenting it

Hm, You most likely will want to scan your picture as a document(which will make it a greyscale) or a newspaper(which will ONLY have black and white)

Newspaper will be easier to fill in, but most likely you MAY lose alot of detai.

well I prefer to use "draw" tool and you do pretty much as I do... there is but a single problem. When ever I want to start coloring my pic there always is like a wierd pixels around the lineart (little gray like around the lines) and they get visible when it comes to coloing a pic, making it look kinda dirty. Do you know how to get rid of em?

i've got a question, you know when you download PSP frm the CD, does animation shop comes with the CD, coz i don't have it, and i have psp x. which is confusing coz i really really want to animate.

I don't understand all in your message, but I downloaded PSP 8 from a cd bought from some store and there was also Animation Shop 3 and it was downloaded automatically. (I don't remember pressing any keys or clicking anything for it). I open AS 3 just clicking launch AS 3 on PSP 8 - File - export or Start menu - Jasc Software - Animation Shop 3.

Vector is exactly like the Raster layer.. They are virtually the same thing. Just only the Pen goes though.

Ok so I have PSP9 and after I import the cute little picture I want to 'lineart' and make a new raster layer calling it lineart, I use the pen tool and as soon as I use it, it makes another freaking layer called "Vector" what the crap is that?

the pen tool is a bit more complicated but you can like the results if your good with it.

Vector.....hm...i cant honestly say, its connected to the pen tool inorder to make high quality pics

Uncheck the box saying 'create as a vector' when you want to use pen tool. If there is such box anyway, I've PSP 8 and that works in it.

I think you did a great job. I just wanted to comment about making all your messy backround stuff disappear. Is it the same as going to view layer1 and then merging all flattened help dissapear the backround art as well? I'm sorry..I'm new to psp and I also have psp7.

just click the 'eye' if there is one on the background layer which makes it not visible.

and you can replace it with a new clean layer

just use "adjust=>brightness and cotrast" and it will change in the black, then You canb easly erase the dirties by "Background eraser tool" ;)
