If you use the sandbox tools to make the terrain, SU will automatically place the terrain within a group. However, the script requires the terrain to be active - not in a subgroup. So you must either explode the group or open the group and then create the path geometry.

when i do this a window pop up saying "ERROR: No Terrain Mesh selected for Grading! ".. but i did the same steps you did, you know whats wrong?

what version of sketchup do u have?i have 8 and i cant find 'plugins'

@elaerningconsultant You can find it at the Ruby Library Depot - just search for it and you'll find it there called "Instant Road". Can't link it here unfortunately =/ But it's at the adress rhin.crai-and so forth
