The gov body of JWs have many tools with them - and one of these is the power to use ambiguous words and manipulate those who follow them. Words used in such way can enable them to teach things for a season, and then discard those teachings (excuse - "we have new light" or "the gov bod never said that really, but individuals among us who may have deduced that") when it is inconvenient. Mat.7:21-23 talks about "church folks" who were probably there every time the doors opened. They likely had even been baptized. But they had never been Born Again. The second section is an out of context quote from a watchtower set to the context of his fake statement at the beginning. if you read the actual article quoted with the monkies in the background, it's about NOT making predictions about when Armegeddon would come.

Jehovah witnesses are not Christians. They insist that God's personal name is Jehovah but this is far from the truth. The name Jehovah aren't found in any Hebrew or Greek scriptures. The gov body of JWs have many tools with them - and one of these is the power to use ambiguous words and manipulate those who follow them. Words used in such way can enable them to teach things for a season, and then discard those teachings (excuse - "we have new light" or "the gov bod never said that really, but individuals among us who may have deduced that") when it is inconvenient. The teaching of the end may come in the generation who first understood 1914 is a good example.

Mat.7:21-23 talks about "church folks" who were probably there every time the doors opened. They likely had even been baptized. But they had never been Born Again. -when is the world coming to an end, because JWs have been saying this for years? well, if you remember, Noah also warned people about the flood, people laughed at him, no one would listen, and then they all died.

@MsCaligurl93 some times if only people could learn from the past. Noah's day was an expample what is to come. just as he was mocked so are the JW's and that even proves it more that we have the truth.

JEHOVAH WITNESS is a TRUE RELIGION... I 'm not babtise but I BELIEVED them. They are 2 kinds of religion GOOD and Bad. Jehovah Witness teaching a GOOD MORAL. NO OTHER RILIGION like JEHOVAH WITNESS.

No, there is one kind of religion: The wrong kind. The bible has stemmed hundreds of different religious beliefs that it's insane. Let alone that the bible holds some backwards and gruesome doctrines that have to do with slavery, sado massachism, genocide, anti semitism, and much much more. Haha besides, the congregation has done the most unethical things to human beings that it blows my mind even to today...

@marsering THIS IS VERY TRUE. WHEN YOU LOOK AT WHAT JESUS SAID ON HOW TO IDENTIFY THE TRUE FAITH. JW STAND UP TO THOSE WORDS. The watchtower doesn't suggest that anywhere. The first section was a complete fabrication. The second section is an out of context quote from a watchtower set to the context of his fake statement at the beginning. if you read the actual article quoted with the monkies in the background, it's about NOT making predictions about when Armegeddon would come.
i.e. The poster can't think of a real point, so he's making a fool of himself posting nonsense.

No they dont say when it the end is going happen,they dont know only one person knows that.They do not talk about doom and gloom,if telling someone there is chance for them to live in a world of peace,not sickness,illness or death is gloomy you have a hole in you head.
They teach with their hands open nothing up their selfs as you are trying to put it,they want you to read the whole bible not just net pick at bit here and there like bibleanswerman1 seem to enjoy doing.

Uhh, BladeManx, the 'Governing Body' of the Jehovah's Witnesses are masters of 'double-bind' communication... You are 'encouraged' to 'read the entire bible', but if you find things in it that contradict the Guv Body - and mention it, or worse yet, question their teachings, you will find yourself disfellowshipped... Read the Bible, but ONLY under their control....

Italorobert is adding his own words to this watchtower publication. Nowhere in paragraph 7 does it add 120 years to 1914 and then conclude the year 2034. That article is just trying to emphasize how close we are to the end of this system of things.
This is an obvious manipulation.
The sad thing is that more than likely some poeple have heard this and have concluded that we actually say that.
