Honestly, he has the strongest category! All three, have voices that need to be heard! Drew, is amazing! Her voice is rare to come upon, and her level of talent is crazy! She's so good! Racheal's voice is rare to come upon too! She's so energetic and she's just a brilliant performer. Melanie's vocal rage is crazy! She never should've left in the first place!
I was glad Simone went home - she was way too obsessed with superstardom. Any other judge wouldn't have put her through to the live shows had they been her mentor.
I doubt they would have let Tiah through either, but she was an honest and humble human being and I wish the best of luck to her. [PS - Paula and Nicole are horrible at hiding their happiness over her being gone]

It's a little upsetting that Simon brought Simone Battle and Tiah Tolliver over Caitlyn Koch and Tora Woloshin. They deserved to be apart of this. I'm a fan of everyone yet, seeing those two go home so that Simon can prove a point with Simone & Tiah just didn't seem fair. I hope they audition again.

Actualy I think Melanie sucks. She could not hit the proper notes in the whitney song. She cant get her voice high enough. Drew on the other hand can and she hits every note kinda like mariah carey. Drew is by far the most talented singer in this group and thats why simon said its the most easy decision he has ever made in his life and put Drew through first. The better they are, the more talent they have , the judges will drag it out, and leave them hanging till the very end. They think it is exciting and the suspense will build up the attention. We already knew that He had planned to put Melanie through when he made a promise to her family. As he said on public tv that he wouldn't let her down again like he did. Which had ultimately placed her in the top acts to make it through to the live shows for the voters to choose.
The host is bull!! but seriously wtf was Simon thinking picking Simone and Tiah to come to the live shows? No voice!! but it did make his decision easier lol. Drew has a big chance of winning because she's young and has a old soul voice reminds me of Celine Dion. I can still see most of the contestants still becoming famous without even winning the competition.
Melanie amaro hands down. Something that stands out about her, is not only her voice, its her humbleness. She listens to her critics. I think as live shows continue, she will progress. She's A triple threat. If true fans know what I'm talking about. #Teammelanie.

We have a dozen singers in the market like Melanie which is a bit boring. Why do we need another one yelling like Whitney. Commercially speaking Drew will be the right choice for a recording company. Drew has a unique voice and more current. Young people would buy her CD or download her music.

@joesel19 It's because he likes older styles of music, then added to it are cheap beats and nothing more. It's the whole if you look good and sing good, just stand there and sing and people will pay. He loves the potential in stand still singers and he always will. American Idol proved it and so does X-factor. They really need to do a show and look for different styles because it's all the same stuff.
simon cowell please return to your rightful place as head judge on the uk x factor , although the new judges are pretty good they are just not as watchable as you , return quickly before the show dwindles completely in the Tv ratings . If you timed your week accurately you could possibly do both shows.
Wow the american version is even more contrived than the extremely false british version., at least there's some honesty in the uk version, [ albeit in discrete fragments] its so nauseating how the rejected contestants don't voice their obvious disappointment but choose instead to say that it was an incredible experience and that they have grown and will continue to grow, that they are very grateful for having the opportunity to perform blah blah

@laughablebubbles I agree< Drews voice is unique, Melanies voice while is awsome is nothing special, I work in a predominatly african american apt complex, and I hear that type of voice and style of singing with same the power coming from almost every young lady walking around. @laughablebubbles I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who thinks that. While Melanie has real talent, I haven't been able to really get into her. I just don't see how she stands out from Jennifer Hudson or Beyonce, etc. I want the winner to be somebody with a voice that I could hear on the radio and recognize before I am told who it is. I don't think that would be the case with her for me. I would be able to do that with Drew and Rachel, maybe even Chris and Stacy.
I dont get how they can make Simon act like this is a hard decision, It is obviously an act the way he pretends they are not all blown away by Melanie Amaro. The only hard decision is going to be when it gets down to Melanie, Josh and drew although I think more Melanie and Josh will be the hardest. Yes I know Drew is good also, just a step below the other two. Melanie and Josh are both awesome talents.
@bronzekitty26 Melanie is amazing but, at least in my eyes, hasn't not that special something in her voice (you should instantly know it's her singing a song the first time you hear it) and musical style that Drew definitely has and this is what X Factor should be about. It is not just a talent contest. If I had a thousand picks between the two, I'd pick Drew each and every time. But that's just me.
@memandi2 P.S. This is why I like the UK version much, much more than the US one. Although the contestants have much more technical skill on the US XFactor, the UK's are much more special, in every way.
@11roman110 I agree Jazzlyn Little should of been in this show. As she is really good. I think her nerves and self doubt or low confidence level kept her down though. Hopefully she'll be more sure of her own talent and self belief. Then come back again next year or try out on the other talent shows the y have in the US As she could really go far if she just believed and didnt knock herself all the time.

I think everyone is talking about Melanie and Drew and you forgot Rachel. I think all of them have three different styles and amazing talent and I think that Simon made a great decision and it's unpredictable to say who is gonna win.

Actualy I think Melanie sucks. She could not hit the proper notes in the whitney song. She cant get her voice high enough. Drew on the other hand can and she hits every note kinda like mariah carey. Drew is by far the most talented singer in this group and thats why simon said its the most easy decision he has ever made in his life and put Drew through first. Melonie is ok but she is not in the same league as Drew. Drew all the way.

The better they are, the more talent they have , the judges will drag it out, and leave them hanging till the very end. They think it is exciting and the suspense will build up the attention. We already knew that He had planned to put Melanie through when he made a promise to her family. As he said on public tv that he wouldn't let her down again like he did. Which had ultimately placed her in the top acts to make it through to the live shows for the voters to choose.

The host is bull!! but seriously wtf was Simon thinking picking Simone and Tiah to come to the live shows? No voice!! but it did make his decision easier lol. Drew has a big chance of winning because she's young and has a old soul voice reminds me of Celine Dion. I can still see most of the contestants still becoming famous without even winning the competition.

Singer like Melanie or Stacy can be found all over the world - but the show called X-Factor which means to me that this person is unique in some way.
Melanie is a real good singer without any doubt.
But my favorite is Drew ... distinctive voice - charisma ... and everytime i listen to her songs i feel every word she sings!

I would vote for Drew 100% if Melanie doesn't exist in this competition. My heart is sold to her and she's my only excitement for X Factor. OK I lied, I love seeing Drew, Rachel, Josh, Stacy, and Chris too lol...and this is much better than last season American Idol where I only enjoyed seeing Haley Reinhart. So yeah, best wish for Melanie!

We have a dozen singers in the market like Melanie which is a bit boring. Why do we need another one yelling like Whitney. Commercially speaking Drew will be the right choice for a recording company. Drew has a unique voice and more current. Young people would buy her CD or download her music.

He loves the potential in stand still singers and he always will. American Idol proved it and so does X-factor. They really need to do a show and look for different styles because it's all the same stuff.

simon cowell please return to your rightful place as head judge on the uk x factor , although the new judges are pretty good they are just not as watchable as you , return quickly before the show dwindles completely in the Tv ratings . If you timed your week accurately you could possibly do both shows.

Wow the american version is even more contrived than the extremely false british version., at least there's some honesty in the uk version, [ albeit in discrete fragments] its so nauseating how the rejected contestants don't voice their obvious disappointment but choose instead to say that it was an incredible experience and that they have grown and will continue to grow, that they are very grateful for having the opportunity to perform blah blah

@laughablebubbles I agree< Drews voice is unique, Melanies voice while is awsome is nothing special, I work in a predominatly african american apt complex, and I hear that type of voice and style of singing with same the power coming from almost every young lady walking around. @laughablebubbles I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who thinks that. While Melanie has real talent, I haven't been able to really get into her. I just don't see how she stands out from Jennifer Hudson or Beyonce, etc. I want the winner to be somebody with a voice that I could hear on the radio and recognize before I am told who it is. I don't think that would be the case with her for me. I would be able to do that with Drew and Rachel, maybe even Chris and Stacy.

I dont get how they can make Simon act like this is a hard decision, It is obviously an act the way he pretends they are not all blown away by Melanie Amaro. The only hard decision is going to be when it gets down to Melanie, Josh and drew although I think more Melanie and Josh will be the hardest. Yes I know Drew is good also, just a step below the other two. Melanie and Josh are both awesome talents.

@bronzekitty26 Melanie is amazing but, at least in my eyes, hasn't not that special something in her voice (you should instantly know it's her singing a song the first time you hear it) and musical style that Drew definitely has and this is what X Factor should be about. It is not just a talent contest. If I had a thousand picks between the two, I'd pick Drew each and every time. But that's just me.

Hopefully she'll be more sure of her own talent and self belief. Then come back again next year or try out on the other talent shows the y have in the US As she could really go far if she just believed and didnt knock herself all the time.
