  • sounds awesome! was is easy to assemble?

  • Does anybody know if this Leeds Fuzz is compatible with a 9v adapter?

  • How would you compare the Leeds w/ the original SuperFuzz? Do they basically sound the same, or is the original better? I'm thinking oy buying/building one of these. Thanks, and ROCK ON!

  • @jkretch72 i built a leeds and my friend has an old gray superfuzz. to both of us they sounded the same, though you might find someone who disagrees. our ears are pretty keen and couldn't hear any difference at all.

  • @mattius6 Thanks! I actually have one (Leeds) now since I posted, but I have never played an original. It's good to know they sound the same. Thanks again!

  • @mattius6 that is good info to have..thank you sir.

  • Oh I have to build me one of these.

  • I'm going down on the corner right now to sell my body to come up with some money to buy the Leed's and Mouse.

  • ok, my fucking jaw dropped when he flicked that switch over at about 2:14, i got look into this pedal!

  • THUMBS UP if you thought it said German dude

  • Holy Christ does that sizzle! Good demo vid

  • guy sounds like jack black

  • @pureawosme you must be new here 8D

  • Absolutely brutal, that Leeds Fuzz can tear your head off,... I love it!! This one is a real tinnitus monster, but it sounds better than the original univox superfuzz IMHO.

I must have one -- thanks for the great demo GMD. VERY useful - Vielendank

  • He flipped the toggle over on the Leeds Fuzz and it screamed. That sold it for me.

  • What a generous thing to allow people to do. What's missing is an LED so you know if it's on or off.

  • Great shoes!

  • Wow, the analogue Chorus is cool if you want to play that hair music again.

  • you SLAY man!

  • i have a question. what if the kit doesnt come with an LED light. can you build it without an LED? or will that effect how the pedal works?

  • HORRIBE SHOES ;(

  • My god I want a fuzz pedal!!!! The sound that comes from the bends just rules!

  • the mouse sounds so aggresive and alive !

  • love this song

  • <3 the chorus! Thanks to my friend who sold me his BOYC Analog Chorus, and that exposed me to BYOC.

  • @ 8:33..........smooth....like baby child !

  • I still think the best fuzz is the Swollen Pickle.

  • I have an original Super Fuzz and a Leeds Fuzz, the Leeds is extremely close, it puts most fuzzes to shame. and it cleans up better than almost any fuzz I've owned (lots).

  • Awesome sounding stomp boxes!

Let me know when you have the Analog Chorus back in stock? Thanks.

  • What's the second song that's not played by you in the demo? *the one between the Leeds Fuzz and the Mouse*

  • Hey does the switch turn thew octave off on this ?

  • yo dude, I 'm doing stuff like this 2, I currently use bigg muff russia style boxes, how dou you make the mxr type stompboxes ?

  • there byoc pedals (build your own clone)

  • realy small circuits thats how

  • wow, this fuzz is ALIVE !!

  • GMD! You have inspired me and I just finished my own LEEDS FUZZ. It's a bit late to blare it here but tomorrow morning I'll be on the driveway playing octave runs. BYOC is ace I combine two Confidence Boosts for a Hilarious pedal. Try it out 70 bucks for this fuzz is ace. Very versatile if you want it to be. Rock ON!

  • how do you put it together? is soldering involved?

  • you build the circuit board. almost the entire build is soldering, but don't panic, just practice for a few min and its easy to do.

  • yeahh soldering is involved. For most part thats the only difficult bit about BYOC kits. They are almost foolproof to build and the components and such are as tough as they get. Their large beaver (big muff clone) is a brilliant one to build.

They are one of the best for helping amateur builders too. also, try TonePad for cheaper builds

  • @alterdcrash yes, lots of soldering

  • Lots of octave going on there - tasty sounds. building your own pedals totally rules.

  • 5:37 just kicked me in the balls. Which mode are you in for that segment? Just wondering bc I've got my mouse coming in the mail and want to dropkick folks in the teeth with my tone as well

  • thanks for the demo of the leeds fuzz i was really hoping you play some chords though instead of just lead playing =[

  • I'm with basscajon here. They all sound pretty good, but the Leeds fuzz sounds just like any other fuzz pedal. It has none of the raw snarl of the old Super Fuzz. The chorus is pretty sweet, and the Rat clone I think is much better than the original, but that Leeds just does not measure up.

  • I think it's the video because I built the leeds and put it head to head with an original and it is really close. The sound is distinct. Another facter is how the user has the internal trim pot dialed...you can dial in more octave. It's a good value and amazing sound.

  • i just built the leeds this weekend and threw in a couple 5% tolerance resistors to replace a few missing 1% 22k ohm resistors. sounds pretty sweet in my opinion -- i'm a big EHX fan and it kills the nyc BMP, zipper, double muff and english muffn. but i agree, the sound this leeds in the demo makes isn't the most gnarly. anyone have a demo of the BYOC octave fuzz? is it more octavia or blue blox?

  • just curious, have you ever made a wah pedal ?

  • they are all impressive 4-shore!But this one and the British Blues Overdrive(and well the OD 2,clasic overdrive)Are the SH*T baby!gotta check the others but those 3 for my Tele, and Parker Fly maybe will do better than any pedals I've checked in a wile! But I don't know how they will fuzz out with my LesPaul 2001 redback Stars and Stripes with those kick azz Burst Buckers.Oh what power they unleash. But lower settings are the trick I bet.God Bless You,Thanks very much.sory this is so long

  • Expensive!? I saved 100 bucks by building my tonebender with the BYOC kit instead of buying a premade pedal. How is it not real?

  • He means it isn't real because it doesn't have a big company's name plastered all over the outside....

  • @sexpistolio Yah fail. Period.

  • Awesome! i like the leeds fuzz and the it was cool that you threw in the riff from sandy mary on the mouse demo... that was back when fleetwood mac was a good band... Thanks for all the cool demos

  • The Leeds sounds great, but doesn't seem to have the violent grind of an original super fuzz. I wanted one of these the moment I heard about them coming out, but now i'm torn and might just try to find an original.

And why the 3-in-1 GMD? Gettin lazy?

  • he explained in another video... hes on a time limit

  • stack a wah on that man.. I'm sure it could handle it

  • when are you goin to demo the Big Muff with the univox Superfuzz???

  • Mudhoney? hehe ;)

  • oh yes :D

  • as soon at BYOC has more leeds fuzz in stock im buying one.

  • Rat clone impressed me the most, nice indeed!

  • damn that Leeds Fuzz sounds so good. Thanks again, GMD, you got the Ross clone in there somewhere?

  • Wow that Leeds Fuzz sounds amazing.
