عده زيادي از مردم افغانستان در زمان نسل کشی امير عبدالرحمان شاه سابق افغانستان(دويست سال پيش) بدليل اعتقادات مذهبی به شهر مشهد کوچيدند و همين طور به شهر کويته پاکستان که خداداد از دسته مشهدی هاست.

@93YoungMoney93 khodadad is an iranian. im a proud khorasani and i have many afghan friends. but khodadad is an iranian. just because his name is khodadad and because of what he looks like, you think he is afghan. he is the legend of my hometown and full blood mashadi. i suggest you read some books before you come and make a stupid comment like this. very desrespectful comment brother.
@PersiaX582, Actually Khodadad is a pure Afghan Hazara, but he has lived in Iran for many years. His father land is still in the his hometown and no one has touched it yet.........
anyway, wherever he is from, we are proud of his personality and character and more importantly his Football skill.
@HadiMufid Iranian National Football Team captain Javad Nekounam has mongolian features. Is he considered Afghan? No. Nekounam is from Shahre Rey which is below Tehran. Why don't we just put a stamp on every Iranian that looks asian, and call him Afghan? My family is from Mashad (Khorasan). Infact, in my family we have someone that looks very similar to Khodadad. But just because he looks asian, you want to call him an Afghan hazara? Don't jump to any conclusion when you don't have any proof.

I know Azizi was born in Mashhad, but I'd like to ask you where were his parents born? and where is his father's Iranian identification card? Did he have it before 1990s?....No, Iran has accepted Aziz and his entire family in late 1080s as Iranian citizens because he makes pride for Iran...
