Saw them Saturday night at Scout Bar with Sevendust. They are badass live!! They really suprised me cause the frist two bands weren't all that great, but they came up and blew me away.

Digital Summer rocks. Even though it's new, it takes me back a little, and has that comfortable feel. This guys voice is awesome too. It can be aggressive, but I think he's a baritone, unlike most in these type of bands who seem to be tenors. Does have traces of Breaking Benjamin's sound, but I see these guys as original.

This band kicks serious ass but they will never become famous. Reasons:

1. Sounds like they rip off TRUST COMPANY, BREAKING BENJAMIN and STAIND.

2. Nu-metal hasn't been popular since 9/11.

3. Nobody rock bands can get really famous anymore, no record company will add them cuz they are a minority genre.

But this band is sick.

Quit being a dick. It's impossible for a band to "copy" another unless they make the exact songs. Sound and genre will remain what they are. If they play hard rock like BB and TrustCO, its because they like that kind of music.

First off, most of them released their famous cd before 9/11.

Second, None of them are even remotely popular, maybe Orgy was, but that was in 2000.

As soon as it hit the year 2002, Metalcore and death metal raped nu-metal. There has been no-one, maybe it can become popular again, but i doubt it.
