Ann was an idiot! If I was her, I would've loved Buddy and he would have been the love of my life and only him. That was the biggest problem with this movie, Buddy loved her much more than Harris did.

This is such a powerful scene! His reaction to Ann's "It wouldn't work" is soooo brilliant. Dancy accurately registers the emotions his terrified character. It's where Buddy realizes his last hope [Ann] to live a "normal" life is gone. It's a prospect too terrifying to contemplate during this era when life as a homosexual was a most damnable prospect for anyone. Truly a powerful human drama.

sorry to say this but in this scene he looks like a doll... a real doll not in a cute sense... with his cheek like tinted red pinkish he reminds me of wax person... it's kinda scary ^_^
