  • he used 1995 Camaro Z28 rear brakes on all four corners. the brackets were cut from 1/4 inch thick aluminum stock, we made a template from a teflon cutting board and had the local machine shop cut them for us. He used auto part store brake lines to tie into the factory lines, and thats it. They work *very* well. Corvairs are very light cars and are easy to stop. The hard part is eliminating bias and locking up the front wheels. A simple proportioning valve is all that is needed for that.
