Brilliant, Depth of field, depending on where you look. this is fantastic for gaming. does this slow down the engine or speed it up, just because i saw a new engine from nvidia which added more detail to the areas which are zomed in on, and less polygons to those in the background. ALSO MAKE TUTORIAL SO I CAN LEARN!!!!!!!! Please.
hey man would you mind making a tutorial on the 2d depth of field filter? i would love you for ever and ever and ever. plz plz plz. if not a tutorial just give me the basic steps on writting and ill figure it out from then. please!!!
you, good sir, are amazing. would you recommend blender? im working on a horror game, and im currently just modeling in zbrush, but i needed a game engine, and i was wondering if blender is the best free option...
Hi, I have looked all around, for a good free game engine, and I believe that Blender is the only one available that have 3D and game logic. You will still have to code in python for more advanced logics, but all the basic and main stuff you can do using logic bricks at Blender, what will save you a lot of time. Also its 3D modelling is excelent. My tip is that you take many tutorials, so you get used to the interface.Knowing all Blender capabilities will provide more options to your game ideas.
There's a way to achieve it. I don't know HOW they do it exactly, but it's doable. That is real time reflections, and they look completely amazing! This guy is amazing with the Blender Game Engine!! And he's raising the bar for the BGE!
Oh, wait... For real time reflections, look for Blender Video Texture plugin... Or something... The water uses a video texture (using a camera) to render from your point of view. Then a normal map (Or animated map, I'm not sure) is used to make the ripples.
nice depth of field

Sim você pode fazer isso, apenas dê Pack nas texturas dentro do .Blend

effects:
Real time Water reflection (is increible)
Animated Three

FKTFanHot 2 years ago
Yes all in Blender... and Blender Game Engine to Run that xD
Real Time is maked by Node Editor and VideoTexture Module do make the reflections...
Animated Three is only Shape Key animation ^^
DOF is a 2DFilter shader like a Boom and Motion Blur
Thanks for your comments!

I would also like to know how you did the realtime reflections in Blender
Hansibumsi 2 years ago
can you say me how you do realtime reflection?
i always thought realtime reflection is impossible in bge
xninjasFTWx 2 years ago
That's fantastic. My only crit is the depth of field changes too quickly. A slightly smoother transition would look a bit nicer
