Oh and a skeleton in robes isn't Pagan or Gothic. I'd recommend doing some research on those two topics because they're completely different. I'd call the image deathly, and that's it.

As to why Christians might use that kind of stuff... have you ever read the Old Testament or Book of Revelations?! Full of blood and death, (and other things). I assume Zao uses such imagery 'cause it supports the kind of things they're talking about in their lyrics, and the feel of the music.
