@gtaTbogT Dude the rare 5s? I had those because I started collecting them because they had slots and were available, but the best imo for noobs is Ceanataur. The blue stuff that has like artisan and sharpsword it is beast especially for dual blade users. I'm on quest 4star too lol

@gtaTbogT Well if you have the Rare 1-3 (not sure but it has a white title) giaprey armor, than you should think about buying some new armor. There is also pink title (rare 5?) giaprey armor that gives you fate if you have a full set, meaning that you will get better quest rewards. That isn't really that useful, I like full ceanataur because you get sharp sword, sharpness skill inc, and some artisan that you can socket it in later.

i killed it with a bone katana dragon just use the combo triangle and circle at the same time on his legs eventually he falls over and then you unleash a heavy combo on him

depends on the quest... if it is a high rank quest you will have a greater chance of getting good and valuable materials

the khezu shock sword needs thunder bugs right?

so you should look for some in the jungle zone 10 or in other places.and you could also get some in volcano zones 2 and 5 (i think).

it's known as 'armour effects' certain armours/jewels give the effect... look it up

Yea, there is a way to do that, U can gem your armour and weapons to have the effect or some armours come with it for example the Tigrex armour gives quick eating

attack when he attacked (1 unsheathe slash) and if you have time do a slide slash then roll away and put away you weapon and repeat

I usually use true devil slicer and just all out on his face.. most of his attacks don't know you down. Of course, that's only when you are several ranks above this guy.

When you piss off shogun cenataur you can visibily see his claws get bigger, right? Break both of those before the fight ends and you have a chance of getting the pincer in the rewards.

i defeated the shogun ceanataur just to get the full ceanataur armor set and i even have a blue claw blade made of shogun ceanataur but i haven't break the skull/shell

simple bring a hamer then bring lot shock trap and 2 genprey fang

and 2 trap tool

trap him and aim for the shell and after you break the shell he will dig and find a new shell again

(its pretty hard to explain but you will get the point if you break the shell)

if the world today is the world of monster hunter, greatsword will pawn longsword. in real life, greatsword is recommended weapon for elder dragons, and wyverns,

but in game, most people use longsword because of its lightness and faster attacks than GS.

well i guess your wrong when Mh comes to life many people wil use LS instead of GS because LS is much easier to use unlike GS many people are not muscular ( like me ) so when that thing comes true i will use LS and many people are using GS in the dame too

i think it's all about luck. When you'll have serious armour and weapon, owning the beast will be piece of cake... max 4 minutes. So this will increase your chance percentage of getting the pincers. if you manage to make a luck increase armour, the chance will be even higher

you have to break the claws to increase the chance to get the pincers as a reward or in carve. focus your damage on its pincers

If you still need help on this, actual Thunderbugs can be found through either the insect thicket at Pokke Farm (Probably Insect Thicket+1) or I would assume bug gathering at the last area, the Tower. Though I don't know that for sure, but the actual monster Thunderbug thrives there so I assume. If you need Thunderbug Juice, slay the aforementioned Thunderbugs and they may drop one've the shiny dots you see when a monster drops something, and there you go.

Carved from ElderQuest and/or GuildQuest khezu :)

I suggest you to try to do the Rathalos mission in the guild to get elements to make Wyvern Blade 'Fall'. This will make the khezu killing a lot faster. It's not a necessary thing though...

(If you need a guide for Khezu ask and i'll see what i can do)
