it is really sad. my dad works in the old farmsted building and he probably lost about a million dollars worth of equipment :( my friend's house is a total loss.
its going down last i herd but i dont knwo dam that was bad i walked down by there the other day and i was like wow its one thing to see it on tv but to be there its wow
They've closed on and off a major high way I380 making traffic hard. In order to get from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids you must take a 4 1/2 hour detour. You have to go through DES MOINES!! UNBELIEVABLE!
A bunch of us were at the skatepark on Tuesday. It was bone dry (minus the surrounding park), and less than 24 hours later the place was under two feet of water.
As horrible as this flooding is, it's quite amazing.
