I'd be worried if I didnt have the appropriate tools do delete cods, but I do, thanks for your concern though. Moreover, these tune doesnt throw any codes. Its the sh*tty software that throws codes.
I was going to criticize you for being a pussy on the accelerator. But the reality, is a lot of BMW owners appreciate the quality of the machine, the enjoyability of what you have and knowing what the vehicle is capable of without redlining it everywhere you go(i'm 24). Good video, and i'm glad you enjoy it! I have a '05 330i and have been given a 335i loaner when I got some work done on my car and i'm in love. Its definately next up on my list in the next 12 months. By the way, rev 1.4 is out.
Believe me there are plenty of videos I have to show the capabilities, this is just to show those that are interested in the intakes what they sound like. My car sounds differently now that I have other modifications anyway. Im all up on rev 1.4 already :)
@grielli Yes I always take both the intake and the JB3 off before service...unless it's just an oil change - then I'll clear codes and pull only the dual cones off.
you know, you really get to hear the sound over 400rpm. it's just that by your title i was expecting you to rip it up. Going 40mph and revin up to 3000rpm doesn't really show the potential of jb3+intake. it's like adding exhaust, cats, pulleys, chip, intake and then making a video of you making a turn on a corner, it doesn't show the full potential. But in either case thanks for the video, jb3 is good, i own procede. As for intake, i'm looking to pick one up.
The video and description clearly states its purpose is to show the sound only. At no time was my intention in this specific video to show the performance aspect (again as said in the video). If you want to see the potential there are plenty vids on here from me and others. Thanks though.

@MrMhmm

@graybogey I'm not understanding the question? Are you asking me which parts to buy?
MrMhmm 1 year ago
Have you had any problems with the HPFP yet? A 335i is on my list of cars to potentially buy and I've read they haven't fixed the HPFP yet.

@andymcdo Its been replaced once so far. Its almost inevitable but a free service and 1 day turn around time.

Im interested in the 335 and getting the JB3, is there any known reliability issues ? Bi turbo + ECU mods... sounds scary to me for long term

Not really.

What you should be scared of is BMW denying warranty work because they found tuner codes. It's happened.

Are you 335 owners with intakes taking the unit off when your bringing in your car to the dealer for service/mainenance?
I'm about to buy the dual cone from BMS
grielli 2 years ago
I didnt. Depends on how friendly you are with your service adviser.
