im sure your probably a fair guy, but u cant judge everything that happens at yankee stadium from your one experience. i've been at fenway many times and had morons throw their own drinks at me. why would u throw your own beer at me and miss, hitting other redsox fans, pointless. btw they got ejected. so it goes hand in hand. and i wear my ny colors proud. doesnt matter how suttle your colors are, your wearing something with red in yankee stadium, dude u stick out like a sore thumb

Well first and foremost every rival is gonna get heckled at a game one point or another in their life but the thing is we Yankees fans and just being raised in Jersey, we don't take shit lightly, especially when a rival team believes that we win championships on the dollar itself, we don't talk half as much shit as some Boston fans and whether its some keyboard warrior online or in person disrespecting a great team it stays with me throughout the season

I've been a Yankees fan since I was born. I've never went to a game in Boston, but I just wanted to take a moment to tell everyone that all Yankees fans aren't the way people make us seem. There are millions of great fans. The ones that get thrown out are the bandwagon/fairweather fans. There are a ton of losers, you just have to find the right fans. (I live in Connecticut so it's usually one or the other) I even went to boston to see the city and ended up going to a Sox game, (not against the yanks). Fenway is a beautiful stadium in my opinion and it was a nice feeling to be in "Enemy Territory" hahah.

Part 10: Don't get me wrong, Yankee fans can be extremely belligerent when it come to the rivalry so I don't want to make it seem as though I think the Yankees fans are good and the Red Sox are bad because at the end of the days its still the most heated rivalry in North American sports and the hatred between the two teams is a two-way street. Part 9: Whereas if its a Red Sox fan going into a restaurant in Manhattan its like, well he's simply from out of town and people just go about their business as though he isn't there. I just think the Red Sox hatred for the Yankees is a little stronger then vice versa. And from the Yankees prospective, it seems as though its like "well if you hates us fine, because we don't particularly care for you either." And I speak for no Yankee fan or Red Sox fan when saying this, and this is in no way based on the fact that I am a Yankee fan, but rather based solely on my personal prospective. Part 5: The reason why I bring that up is because when I was still living in Boston, I came to school one day wearing my Yankee shirt not realizing that there was a field trip to Fenway Park scheduled (against the Royals). So once I got to the park, fans wasted no time heckling me. It even got to the point where I was instructed by my teacher to take the Jersey off and simply wear my undershirt out of fear that I would incite a riot!!! (continued)

Part 4: A couple of years later I attended a game at Yankee Stadium against the Rays. When I got to the train station in Newark, NJ, there were a couple hundred Yankee fans heading to the same place I was going. And swimming in that school of Yankee fans was one lonely Red Sox fan. NO ONE BOTHERED HIM!!! IT WAS AS THOUGH HE WASN'T EVEN THERE!!! When I got to the stadium, a few rows ahead a me sat a person wearing a Papelbon jersey. NO ONE BOTHERED HIM!!! (continued)

Part 3: Its one thing to clap and cheer when A-Rod puts one over the monster or when Papi puts one over the short porch in right, but to chant that the home team sucks is one of the cardinal sins in any sport ranging from the pros all the way down to high school. I would never have the nerve to chant "Boston Sucks" at Fenway Park and it kinda pissed me off (granted they were drunk) that the Red Sox fans couldn't show that same type of respect when they were at Yankee Stadium. And for the most part we put up with it until a couple of drunk Sox fans a few rows behind me started chanting "Yankees Suck," at which point the home town fans really started to get irritated, and understandably so. I'm a Yankee fan. In 2003, when I was going to school in Boston, I attended a Yankees-Red Sox game a Fenway Park. I wore my Yankee shirt and Yankee hat knowing full well the abuse I was going to take and did in fact wind up taking from the moment I boarded the "T." Although unlike some fans who get pissed off, I had fun with it. It was interesting. in 2010, the Mets won the game I went to but I was surrounded by Yankee fans so I felt pretty uncomfortable getting loud. This year, the Mets lost the game I went to but I was surrounded by other Mets fans so it wasn't as bad
