yeah i beleive it is very simmilar to city of heroes , except there is more 'action' =-) check out my Champions online vid for a more detailed picture of what its like.

you can change the color of your powers, yes. But, as for creating your OWN powers, idk. If that's true, I'm gunna make a char like Luffy from One Piece.

The great thing about the Champions tabletop RPG was always that, if you could imagine a power, there was a way to create it using the rules, Fidelio. It'd be nice if Cryptic manages to figure out a way to do that for CO..

Dude, it's CRYPTIC. They re-defined MMOs with City of Heroes. They're definitely do the same for Champions Online. I do feel sorry for NCSoft, they're about to lose alot of subscribers (Hopefully Aion will bring 'im back.)

All powers are picked from trees, but you're not limited to just the one tree. For instance, say I wanted the awesome area of effect team-mate damage buff from Sorcery and the heal from Telepathy, in City of Heroes this'd be impossible as one would have to pick a tree at the beginning of the game and stick to it, whereas in champions you can mix and match powers if you've reached the right level for the power in each tree. Powers colours and emanation point can also be changed.
