They are good guitars, but I can get the same quality as a Gibson for half the price from just about any other company. They used to be the greatest, I have a 68' Melody Maker SG and it still out plays all the new ones I've tried.

I've been playing the guitar for quite a while and I felt in love with the les paul design that really made my day when I bought a epiphone les paul for the first time, i've also been trying out the gibsons guitars and really heard the diffrence between the 2 guitars. the feeling you get out of a guitar is up to yourself, it is all in the fingers.
