wow when im all done i think i might be as good as him :) cause were at the same lvl i guess when he was 16 i sound like him. hope i can be that good :D
He-hey! The last time I saw Glyn he was tucking into his second Abdul's Kebab. Is he still knocking about with that little 'Paul McCartney/Alistair McGowan' lad from his Welsh hometown that he went to Salford Uni with? He told me that none of you really like "depressing" brass band music deep down, that it's just a sport, and a chance to travel and get paid? That's really weird to me.
He's not a good player. He's a great player. Arrogant? I've never found him to be the least bit arrogant. Confident, yes. Arrogant, no. Perhaps you caught him on a bad day or something.
@bannan61 if thats the case then i also did. I have a brass session with him for a few days and performed in a concert with him and he was very up his own arse. Granted, he got us playing a lot better and is an excellent player, however he needs to realise he is not god... especially with the ladies!
Brilliant and a million times better than I could play it. Just listen to Lyndon Baglin though. It makes you want to give up. How could anyone even get near?
Yes he does. He admtted he had "one of those moments" after the concert. However, there was only time for a quick run through before the performance rather than a proper rehearsal. Not making excuses or anything....
absolutely Brilliant and using alternate fingerings too wow what a player absolutely Magic would love to see more of this absolutely brilliant euphonium player who is known as far away as right here in little old New Zealand absolute brilliance amazing
I'm learning to play this at the moment and i'm 16 it is the hardest tune and variations I have ever seen and is very compicating and confuses me but I have to learn it for September and i only got it 2 weeks ago :S i will learn it though (hope so)
I'm now 15 and started learning this when I was 13. For the first time ever I am playing it to a proper audience (of more than 20) in 2 weeks. And it has taken me nearly 2 years to learn. Did you manage to learn it in the space of time you had to learn it?
You obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about. This is Glyn Williams - one of the best euphonium players in Britain. How patronising is it for you to tell him that he did a good job and that it must be difficult to play in front of an audience? Very, in my opinion. This is no amateur, you know.
wow, love love love! He was good!

He's a good player. As a person though, I'm afraid he's quite an arrogant bastard.

do you think you can give me the music for this song?

Allowing for a few sync issues, is it just me or does the conductor loose it for a moment at 5.38?
