  • flashman came out when i was doing the part when i coudnt send chips to megaman and i got deleted because i couldnt get away:(

  • @tepig11 Same thing happened to me so i decided to tae the short cut from dex's pc to acdc square then walked to acdc 2 a little longer but flashman free.

  • 8:05 megaman, either the PET is acting up, or u guys both are high

or maybe the PET is on crack

  • @DavidTHAnimations90 YO CALL A NIGGA

  • no dislikes, no suprise

  • Mindblown... I've just worked out what Boomer viruses actually are: CLOTHES PEGS! O.O

  • At Least you Didn't Run into Flashman Beta

  • Hey, just an idea here...You know how Shockwave takes some time to reach the enemy? Have you ever tried taking advantage of that to get counter hits on Canodumbs without getting hit yourself? It would probably be tricky to time, but it's better than nothing.

  • If Megaman 11 (or any future titles come out for that matter) Will you perfect run them?

  • 7:47 Lan? Lan? LAAAAAAAAAN?

  • @WeirdcoProductions FISSION MAILED.

  • No one told the poor doctor to not sit so close to a television screen...

  • I'm playing along with you and I've gotten the silly Guts Style. I didn't even use my buster that much and got counter hits constantly. Oh well... it just sucks I didn't get it in Elec element, but what can ya do?

  • Extra HP Memories are always useful,Roahm. In this case, my bet for why it will be extra useful is probably the next boss. Oh, I remember that one... and I hate him SO much. V1 isn't too bad, but V2 is quite a bit worse, and V3... oh god. Better bring lots of Invis chips. :P

  • Excuse me Mr. Mythril, which game in the Megaman Battle Network series is the one you enjoy playing the most?

  • (Oh, the irony of my watching this considering what happened to my own computer yesterday. Basically being forced to use a "Sub-PET" right now.)

Heh. I pictured Lan's father doing Raul Julia Bison's "Of course!" when asked if he could fix the broken PET; no, this isn't because of it apparently being well-liked by a certain person with glasses.

Anyway, Day 2 was quite short. I'm rather disappointed that the third mission was just another survival battle, but I didn't expect anything else.

  • Well, as far as styles go I'm fairly certain you're getting Guts Style. The fact that you're not selecting all available chips makes custstyle unlikely, and since you don't always pick up your invis' shadow style isn't likely either. Team style... Perhaps, but based on how much you use the buster to finish things off I'm predicting Guts Style.

  • Hmm... Flashman isn't as good as Airman or Flame man!

  • @letsplayerwannabe Each has their own advantages. The Fireman chip (I'm assuming you meant him, not Flameman) does significant damage but only targets down one row. However, it makes up for it by being Heat element.

Airman isn't as good, damage-wise, but it at least spreads the whole field and has the nice effect of double hitting the front column. However, it is Null element, so no double damage.

Flashman does 50 damage to Airman's 40, but it doesn't double hit the front.

  • @denison6482 Thanks to post limits, I had to post another one. So anyway, continued:

Flashman does 10 more damage than Airman, but it doesn't hit the front row twice like Airman does. However, it is Elec element and sports paralysis, and double damages against Aqua enemies, and so will be extremely useful later on (especially against Bubbleman).

Overall, Fireman is the damage breaker, Airman is the easy hitter, and Flashman is your paralyzing Navi assassin against Aqua enemies.

  • when playing this game my jacking out point was on dex's pc but when i was going back.... FLASH! i died D:

  • At the rate you're going I think you will get the Custom Style. You should use the Inviz in every battle and the Anti Damage more as they both add to what you're going for. Set the Inviz Chip as your regular to make it really easy. Tried to hide as many spoilers as possible hope it worked.

  • lol You countered the Spikey with the Roll chip during the three survival battle. You could have gotten another bugfrag if it was a normal virus battle. The more bugfrag, the better!

  • What's the point in the computer having a monitor if you can't even use it without a PET?

also it doesn't really make sense that the signal from the PET to Megaman breaking would effect what Megaman sees... but then again this is the series that has cyber air.

  • The attacks of the Spikey viruses were a lot faster in BN2. The fireballs would move 1 tile per frame (30th of a second), I think.

  • Ack, I'm so used to the post-game's depressing grey internet. It's just so colorful D:

  • The worst part about being stuck with no chips to fight with in that area is accidentally being caught in a battle by Flash Man V3. *shudder*

  • @RedDragon1444 Ah yes, I've had that happen before. Fun times.

  • Roahm, what's your least favorite Day in this game?

  • @Manonthe3up Probably the FlameMan scenario.

  • you do have a longsword already. (i saw it in a earlier part just cant remember which one)

  • @SyfeKS It's Longsword E, and I dont think he has Sword E, or Widesword E (if those exist) and You'll see later on.

  • i went back to the video i saw it in (Day 1 P3) after posting that comment. i dont think there is any of E types for those two either.

"damn, its Longsword E, well thats not going to work..."

although there are E and S in the later BNs

  • @SyfeKS I do have LongSword, yes, but it's not the same code as any Sword or WideSword chips I have. To make the advance, they all have to be either the same chip (such as Cannon A, B, and C), or the same code (such as Sword, WideSword, and LongSword, all coded Y or such).

  • Yeah i saw it was an Longsword E while yours are L codes

i have played BN3-6 (while doing 4 and 6 like this) so i know the basics behind PAs and how they work.

although i do prefer GigaCannon as a PA for Cannon type chips

  • Spikey! They are the cutest viruses! Yay!

  • Urgh, now I remember the problem after mission 3. BLAST YOU, FLASHMAAAAAAAAAN!!! (Even though you're still awesome!)

To answer your question, yeah, Spikey's fireballs are much slower in this game than Battle Network 2. Later versions are still pretty slow, but much harder to dodge than the weaker types.

  • In the white version are actually fishies, so is actually harder.

  • Oooh. So my game wasn't broken when I couldnt use any battle chips.....oh...

  • he mythril, i wanna know, what do you do for a living, how do you make money?

cause, with the amound of spare time you have, i wan't that job too :P

(unless you still live with your parents that is ;) )

  • @9DEATHBORN0 I'm still living with my family. Due to our living situation, I haven't really been able to go looking for work. However, these situations have changed a little, and I'm going to be trying to find work this year.

  • Going in through Yai's computer actually isn't such a good idea. When you lose your ability to use chips, you want to spend as little time in Area 2 as possible since I'm pretty sure Flashman's 3rd form starts randomly appearing there, and you do NOT want to fight him without chips! I always go through Dex's computer just so I can duck back into Area 3 once I finish that last survival battle and not have to worry about that.

  • You remind me so much of Boltage Mcgammar :D its nice to see let's play videos again :)

  • Hey, they actually change the message a bit when you try to run away from a fight during the "offline" part!

  • Another fun fact, you can make a ridiculous folder using

4 copies of lifeswrd advance (Y or S)

    with

    AreaGrab*, PnlGrab*, Airshot*, RockCube*

Fill the rest with whatever you so desire

You can use Airshots to shoot the rock cubes for 100 AP damage a hit. It's even more disgusting if you make a rockcube your regular chip.

The only thing is that there are no mega chips you can get to match the sword's code until you reach the endgame.

  • NOT A "YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID JOKE"! me is suspicious

  • hey roahm your gonna do the post game stuff for bn3?:D

  • @DarkDyllon If you mean the secret areas, yes.

  • @RoahmMythril hey roahm what style are you gonna keep if i were u i would keep hub style or bug style

  • I think the C actually means Cyber; to indicate that it's a pass for the Cyber Metro.

  • It says "CACDCPas" - was that extra C intentional?

  • @iriis1 I believe CADCD means Central ACDC Town

  • @Prod1gyX2009 Wouldn't "cyber" be a more reasonable guess?

  • OMG first for once i love these :3
