We had an EF4 tornado here in my area of Toledo, Ohio about a month ago. The tornado happened at nighttime, and then aouple hours later another round of huge storms came in. Milbury, Ohio looks like a war zone...it's very sad. This is a great video. Hugs from Toledo, Ohio!!!
I remember when i was little i saw a tornado pass by my grandma's house on the other side of a river in calgary or maybe it was a dust devil either way scary shit
I love the summer, simply because of the crazy weather, like these thunderstorms, where the whole house is lit by nothing but candles and you walk outside, it's strong cooling winds, and hoping to God that your lawn furniture doesnt blow away. On top of TV stations doing non-stop coverage, it all becomes a show, better than some of the crap some of these networks can produce, though we hope no more damaging, mega power outage wind storms come through again.
wow glad u like summer too!ive seen a tornado--f1 or f2...scared the shit outa me-yet i still looked out the window even tho im not suposed to look outa windows and i knew i was gonna die :P
YES!!! I live for them! Every year, I can't wait for Spring and Summer to come so I can have some thunderstorms. I like to sit out on the front or back porch and watch them. lol!
I just realized - this is the SAME city that got hit in 1974! Whoa, talk about freaky! (I noticed the buildings in the newscast - it even seemed like it was going through the same area of the city) :O
Yes. This is the same area that was hit by he devastating 1974 tornadoes. Cherokee Park (one of Louisville's signature parks) has never recovered fully from i's effects. I live a block away from that park.
There is a Thunderbolt 1000T set to chopper level 5 up there b y KSB, i'm less than 2 blocks awa from it. Oh by louisville water company there are 2 sirens at the same location. a Thunderbolt 1003 a and a whelen 4004
dude! i live in louisville and there were nooooo tornadoes last year...wait i think there was a small one that barely did any damage ...i think , we dont get tornadoes very often like once every 2 years of so
Notice how many times my comment below wound up posting? I clicked to post it, and nothing happened for like a minute. Clicked a second time, and it posted it 4 TIMES! GAH!
That shit is always so freaky. Goes from daylight to almost nighttime because of the clouds. The sirens always freak me the hell out so I try not to hear them.
nice video. wow people were driving with t-bolts going off! why did they sound twice? that t-bolt sounded scary! next time you might want to seek shelter instead of video taping scary sirens like that. sorry for the comment. thanks for posting.
i remember this, at the very end of the video is the per petuial wall cloud and tornado, when this waLL cloud hit the crecent hill area where i live it was a confirmed f0
What in the hell? This was taken exactly a week ago and I'm down in Nelson County almost directly below ya and I didn't hear anything about this. My boyfriend lives up in Louisville too. It doesn't look like I'm familiar with the area you're filming though but that is one creepy ass sky.
One time we had one of these in Louisville Kentucky when I was going to K.S.B. and they made every one go down to the first floor of our doorms and get away from windows and stuff of that nature.
We got these same storms up here in Cincinnati too. But luckily, Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy were long over. You can watch the full episodes online on abc :)
dude i was there i live on campus at u of l and they made everyone in all the dorms go to the first floor and away from windows...it was definitely creepy outside.

I'd be pissed too, watching a TV show that gets cut off the air.

Scary sirens, those Thunderbolts. Personally I have a passion for severe weather.
From the looks of it, that storm looked like
it dropped a nasty tornado. Were you killed?

"This tornado ruined my entire night with TV coverage that preempted Ugly Betty."
Another moron with whacked out priorities.... Prefers to watch a stupid tv show than to be warned about a danger.
Next time, why don't you go find the tornado and jump into it.
