I wish I could grow my nails long! Maybe not THAT long. But I can't even grow them to how long I want because I'm a musician. The growing isn't an issue at all. But yeah, violin, cello, guitar, piano, NOT long nail friendly. Wah! Lucky. :)

Believe it or not a small bowl with warm water and polident tabs that they use for dentures help to get rid of yellowing. Won't soften or hurt the nails. May take a few times but I use it instead of a bleach solution on my clients... :)

I like this a lot. I have a tip on how to restore the color of your nails. Do you know the denture cleaners? The tablets that fizz in water ebbs that clean dentures? Well you can use that on your finger nails to get then very clean. Its a trade secret. :-) keep up the good work.

To help with the staining, put a base coat on your nails before you paint them, and to remove the stain get a tooth brush and dencher cleaner and scrub your nails.

@ilovemylongnails use a soft block buffer on the stain, it should clear it up and yes use a base coat of good quality

@Pinkbeth107 you can also soak your nails in lemon juice; it will clean your nails and take that stain out. . .soak for 5 minutes. if for badly stained nails. . .at least 10 and you can also add it to your weekly manicure regimen

@Pinkbeth107 I know you weren't asking me, but yes your nails will stan, however, you can use denture cleaner (the tablets) and it is suppose to help clean your nails and get rid of the yellow tint. Hope that helps. :-)

Whoa, your nails are long! I will never get mine that long and if the will I probably cut them down because I can't work with them. However mine can't even grown over my skin. You can see the top of my finger. That's how short they are! Really annoying because I love making nails desings but it's almost impossible with my nails :(

a good base coat would stop your nails from staining when your using such dark colours, i use a base coat every time and mine never stain, it will help the polish last longer and the colours "pop" more, bit like an eyeshadow base, hope this helps, love from ireland =)
