I'd like to hear how quiet the electric outboard is

Hi - this engine contains a advanced electric ac motor - so no brushes, no magnets. You cannot hear this kind of motor operating. The only thing you hear is the water moved by the propeller. But the main point is not the lack of noise, but the environementaly friendly operation as we charge our batteries with solar power.

What on earth is the point of demonstrating an electric outboard with a rock track when the key benefit is quietness - we should be able to listen to the motor!
