  • How can one attach a motor to the rear wheel while keeping the gear ?

  • What if the bag or motor gets wet?

  • They are both pretty water proof. I've ridden through lots of heavy storms with no problems. However, the bag battery is an older version of the conversion kits. Now I have a couple of different moulds that are even more waterproof. Have a look at the solar bike website.

  • I've only lithium ion batteries. Have given up on lead acid - far too heavy. Though they are quite reliable. For the 750/1000W kits you need to run them at 48V

  • Thanks for creating this instructional, I've been thinking of buying a kit, but wasn't a 100% sure how it all came together. you made it seem so simple. Thanks.

  • how much?

  • HOW MUCH DOES THAT KIT COSTS TO SHIP IT TO EUROPE IN ROAMNIA?

  • Same costs as per website (solarbike) just have a look through and you can purchase from there or send me an email.

    Cheers,Matt

  • thanx loads for the upload, great kits there.....

  • thank you verey helpfull

  • I wish I had seen your video before I bought my ebike. I have a battery in the frame with a geared rear hub, and I can see your battery bag is a better option. It would be more water resistant. And after having a flat rear tire on my bike I can vouch that having the motor on the front defo the way to go.
