In this video Wineasio is NOT used, that's why sound "skips". To have FL Studio to work properly (like in Windows), you'll need Wineasio installed...and some other little tweaks. Just google it and follow instructions.In 15-20 minutes you'll be ready to use FL Studio on Ubuntu.

I managed to get FL Studio 8 running using CrossOver but the software is really expensive. Why not just use hydrogen drum machine?

What is the stability of this like? is it fast, slow does it skip much? Please help im considering making a full change from windows vista to ubuntu and the only thing holding me back right now is this and itunes, the only things i use my computer for aha, its just vista is sloooooow and ubuntu is great and looks great, but no fruity loops, please get back to me soon :) youd be a great help

dont fucking do it lol....wine sux at doing alot of things its not the miracle cure everyone says it is to swipe windows off your HD...keep vista, and partition or use wubi to get ubuntu on there...trust me..ur guna need it for something some day and then ur guna hate ubuntu cuz its guna be a program that just wont work in linux ull thank me..keep windows 1st ubuntu/linux second on ur hd...or wubi it..

I couldn't register my reg code on a download version of FL too.
But you can install a Box version on your ubuntu without any restrictions.
If you own a Box version, please try to install.

Hey thanks! Your english is great don't worry, I'm learning French right now and feel like I'm 1 year old right now :-) I'll try that, FL Studio runs faster and uses less resources in Ubuntu than in Windows, what a suprise :-)
