I like how he just pulls a name out of the sky for his objects lol.. I do things like that but I do dkfjdif or something for a temporary filename usually.
Couldn't you just put a low pass filter after the sawtooth (phasor?) signal you use to pick a sample from the file? It should smooth the signal and remove the clicks (didn't tried, just saying). Nice tutorial BTW.
@chriscook212 omx.4band~ its a 4 band compressor. I like using it just before the ezdac~ to get consistent audio level, which is nice when you're making a video! There are several awesome omx objects to help with audio levels in Max/MSP... a little complex to use, but worth it.
@JoelisRich It looks a little red, maybe you should get checked out... Apparently if you lose your stomach lining you have to eat it otherwise it never regenerates...
