I can almost predict 2016 will mark an incredible PE takeover, when more savvy voters here, esp from NS turning 21 yrs n above, and those Overseas voters (this group too) who become more aware and connected thru the internet

Dr Tan Cheng Bok held chairmanship with Dredging Int Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, one of Europe's biggest dredging companies, independent director of ING Private Bank Asia- one of Europe's biggest bank, Leader of Singapore European Parliamentary Group and Leader of SG SEA Parliamentary Group. He represented Singapore in diplomatic talks and discussions on Europe n Asia incl China and Japan!...WOW! that's better that TT's resume.

In the round table interview, you said there is nothing much you can do except to issue warning to the governmentin in private. Wait for the voters to decide in the next GE.
Smart move! Next GE is in 2016. By then, you would have collected your millions in salary.
You may quit and retire with an extra of $20m to $30m in your pocket!
We don't need this type of president in Singapore.

Thank you Dr Tan for believing in Singaporeans. Yes, you're right. The 2011 GE showed proof there were many well-educated and politically-savvy Singaporeans. This group didn't swallow everything that was fed to them. They're smart, savvy and brave enough to seek the truth for themselves.
