I'll do you a favor here and explain what has actually happened:
My reply to your first post essentially called you out for being a cockswinging idiot.
Your every post since then has only proven my initial point. You are the one posturing and threatening. I have never claimed to be a badass of any sort. I deal in reality quite well, but its obvious to me that your only perception of reality is through violence.
Yes in a list of more than two items a comma should be placed after the item just prior to the and. Yet again you are getting wildly off the original topic that I presented. It's clear to me now that you're just some punk who can't deal with reality. Have fun with your extensive knowledge of hand to hand combat. :)
I wasn't really going to go here but, it seems I must. In your previous comment you left out the comma after 'manners' What have you been doing exactly? I have proof that I'm a cagefighter and have offered to present it to you. Shit if you want I can set a fight up with us if you want, assuming you're either in Tennessee or New York. That's where I'm licensed. Btw I rather enjoy playing DnD. However, I don't pretend I'm a badass on the internet whilst playing with foam swords.
@kyoukan91 - Re-read our little chat and see if you can fully comprehend what has transpired. Review grammar rules for using a list in a sentence that uses the word "and".
@storyteller164 Yes, this conversation continues the internet wide trend that any dispute over the aforementioned medium, always seems to devolve into assailing the other persons grammar. Listen I'm on my phone. I apologize that I'm on my phone and I do not bother with such things as commas and apostrophes. To be honest I'm surprised that your giant nerd brain couldn't fill those in on it's own.
@Storyteller164 so is that a yes you want those..? And for a guy that plays with foam swords and overweight nerds who think theyre knights you got a big mouth.
@storyteller164 yes because its completely out of the realm of possibility that one person out of seven billion people is actually a fighter... Idk what you want. You want some pictures of me in an octagon in a fight or something?
@Storyteller164 no I'm not some elite martial artist. Karate segwayed me into kickboxing as a young adult i fought my first uskbf title fight last year at 18 now I'm training MMA at 20. My kickboxing record is 5-1 i train with profighters. I'm 6"2 fight weigh 190 and fight 170 and 155. I'm as average as it gets none of you are even in fighting shape technique is practically useless when you cant see your toes or even do a pushup.
@kyoukan91 - how laughable. Now you are going to post how you are some elite martial artist who is restricted by the government because you are so deadly and somehow think you are superior.
I'm curious why you're so vehemently opposed to hunching? When you hunch your legs are further back so they're harder to hit, and it's hard to drop a shield with two arm straps to block those low blows. Also, when you're hunched over you're in an adaptive and ready stance and because you're shoulders are closer to your target you have increased range and more snap in your attack.
@Zanjistic - simple - if you hunch over, it exposes your upper back to attack, makes it difficult to shift your body and hinders your arm's ability to maneuver the shield and the sword.
@storyteller164 Ahhhh, interesting. I'm used to fighting larger opponents than myself, so going for the upper back was never a realistic consideration for me. I can see where you're coming from though, thanks!
@Zanjistic - one other thing to consider - if you hunch over, it shifts your center of weight to your front foot. Any turning, pivoting, or stepping will be off-balance to begin with. Ideally you want to have your hips and shoulders centered between your feet. This is the most adaptive stance. I am not very tall, and I have been able to hit the shoulder blades of people 6'5" and taller if they hunch over.

Actually I have. Ignore what you see in the movies. All shields were made out of willow boards and more often than not covered by leather. So if you're calling a wooden shield a board, you need to check your history books.
I acquiesce. Condescention and philistinism have proved you the better man and won you the day. My felicitation is yours.

Grammar you should have learned in school.
Manners and Social skills are obviously lacking.
Your "Jock Brain" does not even comprehend what I have been doing this whole time.
When you are worthy, comprehension will follow.

@kyoukan91 - I suggest taking a class or two on basic grammar, manners and social skills.
Assuming you pass, you may well develop the ability to have a civil conversation.

Why the heck are you calling a shield a board. It's a SHIELD. As in SWORD AND SHIELD.

*shrug* I know the history well enough. Within Amtgard, shields are nick-named "Boards". So we go with that.
