No, only 2 of the 6 were and only one of those 2 was charged as an adult (initially) because of his excessive record of violence (he had broken a probation for severely injuring a girl 3 times BEFORE the Jena 6 arrest - he's been arrested at least twice since then as well) and because he was just a few weeks short of being an adult legally.
The attempted murder charges were temporary and were lowered BEFORE any of them went to trial.
The other minor was charged as a monor from the start. He also has an interesting record (from the little that was released in court hearings) and he also was arrested again AFTER the Jena 6 thing (actually 4 or the 6 have been arrested at least once AFTER the Jena 6 assualt, some more than once). He was over a year from being a legal adult so his case stayed in the juvenile courts.
The other 4 were legal adults at the time of the assault.

No, only 2 of the 6 were and only one of those 2 was charged as an adult (initially) because of his excessive record of violence (he had broken a probation for severely injuring a girl 3 times BEFORE the Jena 6 arrest - he's been arrested at least twice since then as well) and because he was just a few weeks short of being an adult legally.
The attempted murder charges were temporary and were lowered BEFORE any of them went to trial.

The other minor was charged as a monor from the start. He also has an interesting record (from the little that was released in court hearings) and he also was arrested again AFTER the Jena 6 thing (actually 4 or the 6 have been arrested at least once AFTER the Jena 6 assualt, some more than once). He was over a year from being a legal adult so his case stayed in the juvenile courts.
The other 4 were legal adults at the time of the assault.

He wasn't alone. He was walking to class & they hid around a corner. Several people helped hold back those who tried to help him. He had no chance to avoid it. It was a complete ambush.

I hear on the news every night of young black males offing each other in record numbers every night, And why is it that most of the men in our nations prisons are black, because they have commited crimes. Yet Al Sharpton wants to blame,white people and our justice system for all of these black people going to prison, yet you dont hear of white people blaming blacks for white people going to jail, Anyone that has commited a crime should have to do their time black or white.

Bailey had tried to crash a party with some friends and he was beat up by a white guy while his friends fought with the white guys friends. I read their police report that came from Bailey himself.
