Kelso uses a Browning Hi-Power, Phelps uses the 1911. Just FYI. I don't know where you got a Star from. Looks like I've gotta go back and get a kill with the M1917 police revolver though.

@philiybrolove I had this mistake too. Go back to the case Armed and Dangerous, then use instead of the shotgun, the revolver of cole, once you killed someone with that revolver you should get the achievement ~ thumbs up so everybody can see it

The Flamethrower is so terrible in this game.

You get it at a point where your next kill requires a long range weapon, so I ended up taking the Flamethrower the first time through and killing myself like a tard=[ instead of running all the way down the hall right to the guy. This sent me WAY back and wasted a bunch of my time, so I didn't even bother grabbing it the next time through. Now I have to work my way all the way through this mission to get my kill. Very nice!

Very easy to miss the colt if you just use the shotgun on armed and dangerous. I completed the game, used every main weapon and the achievement didn't pop. I went back to Armed and Dangerous, shot the wall 30 times until I ran out of shotgun and then shot and killed one guy with the colt and the achievement popped.

@Yiki51 I think it's kind of a dick move to have that revolver only appear in that case and the game gives you a better gun to start out. I mean, why would you drop the more powerful weapon in favor of that little pea-shooter?

It almost seemed like a way to get you to continue playing the game just to get the achievement, never figuring out why you can't find all the weapons.

Because, frankly, there's not a whole lot to do in L.A. Noire, so they needed to drag it out somehow...

If you don't know which weapons you have used you can go to the weapon room in "a different kind of war" pick up a weapon and go and shoot somebody. Then go back and get another weapon. That's what I did and it worked for me!
