because you actually have talent I would offer the following...1) learn how to fingerpick, the strumming creates a droning effect whereas fingerpicking can be dynamic.

2) as for lyrics, I feel like I'm being told something but I'm not there. I'm not feeling it emotionally. Try to say twice as much in half the words. best of luck, you are talented!
