Prototype for PG is D-Rose....its nice seeing some season stats during a match, i always felt that there was little to no connection to the season/franchise your in while you are playing a match...hopefully that improves.

NBA Live has improved but most of the improvements live is making in it's gameplay are things the 2k series HAS ALREADY HAD for awhile. Its catching up but to complain about 2k not making a big jump when it has less to improve upon is silly.

I can say that 2k10 is just the same as 2k9. Same movements and same gameplay. Only they added more animations, upgraded the commentary, and added more game features. If this continues next year then I will not wonder if 2k will be dethroned by Live next yr.

They talked about how the teams were doing but not in this depth it would be like "(insert ,city,Team name) has really struggled early on with their record at 0 and 1" they wouldn't talk about the next games or the games before, it was based completely on the teams record" this year from what i can tell is in a lot more detailed. from what i know they really took a step forward on commentary

Live made a big step from 09 to 10 its alot better of a game but it still cant compete. honestly its not a bad game but 2k is a great game it would be like watching HDTV for along time then going back to standard ya regular definitions fine if we hadn't experienced HD. ya know live good but (2K is GREAT!!!)

only thing good about 2k 10 is commentary the arena atmosphere lacks big time i know because i have the game already graphics improved a little its pretty much the same game people with minor upgrades the arena intros are generic every team has the same intros pre-game rituals are great ther than that its just your regular 2k game, live on the other hand is a completley new game very tru sim arena atmosphere is amazing during key moments within games wether its regular or playoff

Many arenas do it in real life (except it's not the re-recorded, changed-up version heard in this game, it's actually the intro to "Day-O" by Harry Belafonte). NHL 2K actually put the chant in this year and it only occurs about once every 3-5 games. The fact that you hear it 4-5 times PER game in NBA 2K is VERY annoying.

2k10 is not better becaus 2k10 doesnt play like a tru sim game like they claim alot of stuff in 2k is generic every team has the same plays in 2k10 not realistc at all and i have the right to say this because i have both games already teams like the nuggets, warriors dont play like they do in real life where as in live plays very tru sim people like jr smith teams like da knicks play like how they play in real life 2k10 is stll solid but as far as tru sim live takes the cake

LOL after NBA 2k7,8 and 9 íam really dissapointed at 2K.. Played the demo for 5 straight hours.. and the only thing i liked more in 2k10 than 2k9 is A- The graphics B- The Clutch button LT on xbox 360 so u could do the running fadeaways ive been missing. What ive excpected was far more from passing and gameplay overall.. i know what you mean, i hate playing ranked games and all people do is control Dwight Howard on defense and when i go to my center to try and score they switch off of Howard to there SF, because they know the CPU will play better D, punk asses....When i play i play 100 percent User controlled man on man defense, these guys online are scared and like to exploit the game instead of just playing it correctly, bcuz if i wanted the CPU to guard me I'd play offline only
